AI chatbot for WPForms Surveys and Polls: live results context

SleekAI reads your WPForms Surveys and Polls schema, the entry counts in wp_wpforms_entries, and the per-field aggregates the addon computes, then explains what the data means using your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or OpenRouter API key.

SleekAI chatbot for WPForms Surveys and Polls Addon

Survey reports show numbers, not meaning

The WPForms Surveys and Polls addon turns any WPForms form into a survey with aggregated reports: bar charts, pie charts, NPS scores, Likert distributions. Reports show up in the WPForms admin under each form's Survey Results tab, pulling from wp_wpforms_entries and a serialized per-field aggregate stored by the addon. The numbers are accurate. The interpretation is not provided.

SleekAI reads the same survey schema and aggregates the addon uses. When an admin asks 'how did the last NPS survey land', the bot can say '247 responses, NPS of 42, up 8 points from last month, biggest detractor theme is shipping speed mentioned in 31 verbatim comments'. When a stakeholder visiting a public results page asks the same, the bot quotes the same numbers with a less internal framing. Both come from the same source data.

A generic chatbot can't read survey responses. It has no schema for what each field means, no access to the NPS computation, no count of detractors versus promoters. SleekAI scopes per survey form ID, reads the aggregates, and answers in language the admin or stakeholder actually uses: 'detractor mentions', 'biggest theme', 'completion rate', 'response velocity'.

Workflow

How SleekAI reads survey data

1

Pull the survey schema

SleekAI reads the form's post_content JSON for question structure, scale types, and which fields are Likert, NPS, or radio. The schema becomes the basis for every reply the bot generates.
2

Read aggregates from the addon

WPForms Surveys and Polls computes its own aggregates per field. SleekAI reads those instead of re-aggregating, so the bot's numbers always match what the admin sees in the Survey Results tab.
3

Summarize verbatims on demand

Free-text answers are queried from wpforms_entry_fields at chat time. The bot samples up to a configurable cap and runs theme detection through the chosen AI provider, returning the top themes with example quotes.
4

Compare across periods

Entry timestamps let the bot split aggregates by month, quarter, or any custom window. Period-over-period deltas are quoted directly so trends are obvious without exporting CSVs.

A typical survey-discussion conversation

Comparison

Generic chatbot vs SleekAI for WPForms Surveys and Polls

Generic chatbot

  • Cannot read survey response counts or NPS aggregates
  • Has no access to verbatim comments stored in wpforms_entry_fields
  • Doesn't know the survey's question structure or scale type
  • Can't compare time periods or segment results by device or referrer
  • Treats every question generically instead of by survey-question type

SleekAI chatbot

  • Quotes live response counts and NPS scores from wp_wpforms_entries
  • Reads verbatim text answers from wpforms_entry_fields for theme summary
  • Computes promoter/detractor/passive splits using the addon's own scoring rules
  • Compares current period against prior period using entry timestamps
  • Segments results by referrer, device, or any other captured metadata

Features

What SleekAI gives you for WPForms Surveys and Polls Addon

Live aggregate summaries

Numbers go in, English comes out. The bot reads the survey's per-field aggregates and explains the result in one or two sentences: 'NPS 42, up 8 points, mobile-skewed', so admins don't need to interpret charts before a meeting.

Verbatim theme detection

Free-text survey answers live in wpforms_entry_fields. The bot can read them at chat time and group recurring themes, so 'what are detractors saying' returns the top three themes with example quotes.

Period and segment comparison

Compare this month's results to last month, or split by referrer source, device type, or any captured field. The bot quotes both numbers and the delta so trends are obvious without exporting CSVs.

Use cases

Where this chatbot pulls weight

Internal admin dashboards

Marketing leads ask the bot for survey rollups before meetings instead of opening the WPForms admin and reading charts.

Public results pages

Brand transparency pages that share NPS or satisfaction scores publicly can let visitors ask 'what does this score mean' and get an honest answer.

Product feedback loops

Product teams running quarterly feedback surveys can chat with results to find themes faster than reading 300 individual responses.

The bigger picture

Why survey reports need a translator

Survey results live as numbers in the WPForms admin, but decisions live in language. A bar chart showing 16 percent detractors doesn't tell a marketing lead which feature to prioritize next quarter. Reading 40 free-text verbatim comments takes 15 minutes per survey, and most teams skim.

A SleekAI bot reads the same data and outputs a one-paragraph summary: NPS is 42, up 8 points, the dominant detractor theme is shipping speed, mobile responses skew younger and rate fulfillment lower. The translation is the whole point. Verbatim theme detection is the underrated win.

The WPForms admin shows you that 40 people answered 'what could we improve' but doesn't summarize the answers. Manually grouping themes is the most time-consuming part of survey analysis. SleekAI samples the verbatims at chat time and groups them, so 'what are detractors saying' returns three themes with example quotes in two seconds.

Period comparison closes the loop. NPS in isolation is a number. NPS compared to last month is a signal.

The bot reads entry timestamps and quotes both values plus the delta, so the marketing lead walks into the Monday meeting with a story instead of a chart. The data was always there. SleekAI surfaces it in language.

Questions

Common questions about SleekAI for WPForms Surveys and Polls Addon

By default it works with aggregates and anonymized verbatim themes only. Individual responses with PII (email, name) are filtered out before the data reaches the model. You can enable per-response lookup for admins via display conditions, scoped to logged-in users with a specific role, if you need that for internal debugging.

WPForms Surveys and Polls already classifies responses to a 0-10 question as promoters (9-10), passives (7-8), and detractors (0-6). SleekAI reads the addon's stored classification rather than recomputing. NPS = percent promoters minus percent detractors, rounded to a whole number.

Theme detection runs at chat time using your chosen AI provider. Each summary request consumes tokens proportional to the number of verbatim comments included. For surveys with hundreds of responses, the bot summarizes a sample by default and notes the sample size in its reply, so you control cost.

Yes. If the same survey is run repeatedly with a new entry batch each period, SleekAI can compare current-period aggregates against the prior period using entry timestamps in wp_wpforms_entries. The bot quotes both numbers and the delta so trends are explicit.

Yes. WPForms supports Likert grids and the bot reads the aggregated scale distribution per row and column. 'For the question Did you find checkout easy, 62 percent strongly agree, 18 percent agree, 12 percent neutral, rest disagree.' Honest numbers, no chart-reading required.

If the survey captures referrer, UTM source, or device metadata (either via form fields or via SleekAI's own page-context variables), the bot can split aggregates by those dimensions. 'Mobile NPS is 38, desktop NPS is 47' is a one-line query.

Only if you explicitly include the email or name field in the variable set passed to the model. The default config strips PII, so detractor analysis works on themes and counts without exposing individuals. If you need to follow up with specific detractors, that's a separate admin flow.

Yes. WPForms Surveys and Polls can embed a public results page. Run a different SleekAI bot scoped to that page with a system prompt that uses lay-friendly language. Visitors can ask what scores mean without ever seeing internal terminology.
