Chat

Chat is the core feature of SleekAI. If you've used ChatGPT, you'll feel right at home. It's essentially the same experience, but running directly inside your WordPress admin area with access to your configured AI providers.

After configuring your API key, you can start chatting immediately. No additional setup required.

Conversations

Each chat is a conversation with the AI. You can have as many conversations as you need, and they're all saved automatically. Switch between them using the sidebar, or start a new one at any time.

Conversations are stored in a dedicated database table for better performance, especially if you have a large chat history.

Regenerate Messages

Not satisfied with a response? Click the regenerate button on any AI message to get a fresh take. The AI will generate a new response based on the same context, which can be useful when you want to explore different angles or phrasings.

Branch Conversations

Sometimes a conversation takes an interesting turn, but you want to explore a different direction without losing your current thread. With branching, you can start a new chat from any message in your history.

This creates a copy of the conversation up to that point, letting you explore alternative paths while keeping the original intact.

Media Library Integration

You can include files from your WordPress Media Library directly in your conversations. This lets the AI analyze images, documents, and other files you've uploaded to your site.

To add a file, use the attachment button in the chat input. The AI will receive the file as context and can reference it in its responses.

Model Selection

You can switch between different AI models depending on your needs. The available models depend on which API keys you've configured. Each provider offers models with different capabilities, speeds, and costs.

For quick questions, a faster model might be sufficient. For complex tasks that require deeper reasoning, you might want to use a more capable model.
