An AI assistant that works anywhere in WordPress
Press Cmd+Shift+L to open the Agent beside any WordPress admin screen. Chat on the left, your content on the right. Different modes give the AI different capabilities, from editing blocks in the block editor to working on a page in Bricks, Breakdance, Beaver Builder, Elementor and Etch.

Claude Code for the builder you already use
SleekAI gives supported WordPress page builders, including Etch, their own live agent mode, with a Claude Code or Codex terminal, mirrored page files, and builder-specific tools for structure, styling, CSS, and save flows. See the global coding agents feature.
A filesystem-style context layer for real WordPress work
SleekAI is taking a slightly different route with the Agent. Instead of only giving the model a prompt and the current screen, modes can mirror the thing you are editing into structured files: blocks in the block editor, and in a page builder the page’s element JSON, custom CSS, responsive styles, global classes and instructions for that builder.
That makes the assistant much more useful for coding-agent workflows. Claude Code or Codex can search the files, inspect nearby structure, make targeted edits, and use the builder’s own tools to apply changes back to the open editor. The UI stays visual, but the agent gets context it can reason through quickly.
Structured content
Blocks and builder elements become files, each standing for one part of the open page, with instructions for that builder beside them.
Agent-native search
The agent can find copy, selectors, settings, and related elements with normal file search instead of manual clicking.
You still save
Changes appear in the editor as the agent makes them, and nothing is saved until you save the page yourself.
Features at a glance
Launch From Anywhere
Open the Agent with Cmd+Shift+L or Ctrl+Shift+L on any WordPress admin screen and in the supported page builders, without leaving what you are working on.
Split-Screen Interface
The Agent sits in a column on the left while your screen stays fully usable on the right, where its changes appear as it makes them.
Multiple Modes
Pick the mode for the task before your first message: a general chat, the block editor, or the mode of the page builder you are in.
Block Editor Mode
Edit blocks through conversation. The AI reads your blocks as files and makes precise changes while you watch.
Mirrored Filesystem
Expose page content, builder state, CSS, and builder instructions as files so coding agents can search and edit quickly.
Role Access
Choose which user roles may use the Agent. Each ability still checks the user’s own capabilities, so an editor’s Agent can do only what the editor could.
Context Aware
The Agent recognises the block editor and each page builder, opens there in the mode made for it, and remembers the mode you chose for each kind of screen.
Builder Coding Agents
Use Claude Code or Codex in supported page builders with builder-specific tools for structure, styling, CSS, validation, and save flows.
Built-in modes for every task
Each mode gives the AI different capabilities. Pick one with the mode button in the Agent’s header before your first message; in a page builder, the builder’s mode is fixed.
Chat
A general assistant on every screen but the page builders. It can run JavaScript in the page and find and run WordPress abilities.
Block Editor
Works on the post’s blocks, each a JSON file it reads and writes, and names the block you selected. Chosen by default in the block editor.
Page builders
Bricks, Breakdance, Beaver Builder, Elementor and Etch each have their own mode, which works on the open page through the builder’s tools and offers coding agents.
Modes API for developers
Add your own modes with the Modes API. A plugin registers a mode in PHP and extends it in the browser with its own files, tools, and instructions. The built-in Block Editor mode is made exactly this way.
add_action('sleekAi/init', function () {
\SleekAi\Agent\Agent::registerMode([
'id' => 'product-writer',
'label' => 'Product writer',
'description' => 'Writes product descriptions',
'category' => 'Shop',
'detection' => ['bodyClass' => 'post-type-product'],
'agent' => [
'systemInstruction' => './product-writer.md',
'executeJs' => true,
],
'script' => plugins_url('product-writer.js', __FILE__),
]);
});WordPress Abilities at your fingertips
The Agent integrates with WordPress 6.9’s Abilities API. Your AI assistant can discover and execute any registered ability, respecting your user permissions. As plugins adopt the API, your agent becomes more powerful automatically.

WordPress and plugins
WordPress, plugins and themes register abilities through the Abilities API, the SleekWP products included.
SleekAI Agent
Uses search_abilities and execute_ability tools to discover and run abilities.
Actions
The Agent runs the ability with the input it needs and reports the result, within your own permissions.
When plugins register abilities with WordPress, your agent automatically gains access to them. No configuration needed, just ask and the agent finds the right ability.
Discover Available Actions
Ask the agent to search for abilities and it will show you everything you can do, from getting site info to managing content.
Permission Aware
Only see abilities you have permission to use. The agent respects WordPress capabilities and never oversteps.
Plugin Extensible
Any plugin can register abilities. When they do, your agent gains new capabilities without any configuration.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Agent?
The Agent is an AI assistant that works beside the WordPress screen you are on. It sees that screen and, depending on its mode, can read and change what is on it: blocks in the block editor, a page in a page builder, or anything a WordPress ability offers.
How do I open the Agent?
Press Cmd+Shift+L on a Mac, or Ctrl+Shift+L on Windows and Linux, on any WordPress admin screen or in the Bricks, Breakdance, Beaver Builder, Elementor and Etch editors. The page reloads with the Agent in a column on the left and your screen on the right, and the same shortcut closes it again.
What is the difference between Agent and Chat?
Chat is a plain conversation with a model in the AI workspace. The Agent works beside an admin screen or page builder, with tools that act on it. Agent conversations are stored per user, apart from your chats.
What are modes?
A mode tells the Agent what it is for and what it may do: its instruction, its tools, whether it works on a virtual copy of the page and whether it may run JavaScript. The built-in modes are Chat, Block Editor and one mode for each supported page builder.
Can I create my own modes?
Yes, in code. A plugin registers a mode in PHP with the Modes API and can extend it in the browser with files, tools and an instruction built at run time. The Agent lists the modes that code registers; custom modes made in the mode editor of SleekAI 2.2 are kept but no longer offered.
What is a virtual file system?
The Block Editor and page builder modes give the Agent the page as files instead of letting it touch the editor directly. Each file stands for part of the open page, such as one block, and when the Agent writes one, the mode applies the change to the editor. Nothing is saved until you save the page.
