Blocksy's CPTs and content blocks as chart cards
Blocksy Pro adds custom post types for portfolio, team, and FAQ in a few clicks, plus content blocks that render those CPTs anywhere on the site. The admin lists them as separate post-type screens with title, author, and date. SleekView reads wp_posts joined to wp_postmeta and surfaces the post types and content-block usage as chart cards.
Charts then describe the build at site scale: count of portfolio entries per service category, distribution of content-block placements across the site, edit cadence per CPT. The dashboard feeds back into the same data Table and Kanban views use.
Reads go through wp_update_post and update_post_meta when edits happen in the Table view, so Blocksy content-block hooks fire on save. The customizer keeps owning theme customization; SleekView Charts owns the cross-CPT reporting surface.

Comparison
Default Blocksy reporting vs SleekView Charts
Default Blocksy admin (CPT screens and customizer)
- Blocksy Pro CPTs render as separate flat screens with no aggregate view.
- Content-block placements are visible inside the customizer, not in any list.
- Customizer-registered meta values stay hidden behind the editor.
- Edit cadence on Blocksy CPTs needs a third-party reporting plugin.
- Cross-CPT inventory requires opening each post-type screen in turn.
SleekView Charts
- Reads Blocksy Pro CPTs alongside core posts and pages.
- Content-block placement data joins to its host post type.
- ACF and Meta Box fields chart as groupBy columns out of the box.
- Cross-CPT inventory in one Number card.
- Same dataset feeds the Table and Kanban views for inline edits.

The bigger picture
Blocksy's CPTs deserve a real reporting surface
Blocksy Pro lowered the bar to add CPTs and content blocks, which means most Blocksy sites end up with a richer data model than the admin reports on. SleekView Charts builds dashboards against that data so the team running the site sees inventory, cadence, and distribution without leaving WordPress. The customizer keeps owning theme settings, content blocks keep rendering, and the admin gets a reporting layer that respects the same APIs Blocksy already uses.
The dashboard is a saved view, so the same chart runs every Monday without anyone rebuilding it.
