Marketplaces run on dashboards, not lists
BuddyBoss Marketplace turns a BuddyBoss community into a peer-to-peer marketplace where members create listings, take orders and exchange goods or services. Listings live as a custom post type with postmeta for price, category, location and seller-specific fields. Orders write to dedicated marketplace order tables (or to WooCommerce, depending on configuration) and are linked back to member profiles via user_id. The default admin renders each surface as a separate row list, which is right for case-by-case moderation and wrong for understanding marketplace health overall.
SleekView Charts reads the listing CPT, order rows and BuddyBoss profile data joined, then renders marketplace health as chart cards. A Number card counts active listings in the chosen window. A Pie shows the category mix so growth sees whether the marketplace is balanced or dominated by a single segment. A Bar ranks sellers by listing or order count for trust-and-safety review and featured-seller rotations. An Area trends orders per day so launches, promotions or seasonal effects become visible.
Filters carry between the listing audit table and the chart cards, so a category-only or last-30-days filter narrows every card. The dashboard reads what the marketplace already records, no extra tracking is added and no separate analytics stack is needed.

Features
What SleekView Charts gives you for BuddyBoss Marketplace
Marketplace as a dashboard
Render listings, orders and sellers as Number, Pie, Bar and Area cards so marketplace ops see health and shape, not only per-listing moderation.
Top-seller shortlist
A Bar of seller_id by listing or order count produces a ranked featured-seller and trust-and-safety review list, refreshed against live data each load.
Orders trend
An Area on order_date reveals whether category launches, seasonal cycles or promotions actually moved order volume at the marketplace level.

Track active listings, see category balance, identify top sellers and watch orders per day in one dashboard rather than three admin tabs and a spreadsheet.
Trust and safety
Filter to flagged sellers or specific categories and surface listing distributions plus order velocity together, supporting risk-tiering decisions.
Growth and product
Group orders by post_date or category to test whether category launches, promotions or featured rotations moved the needle in measurable ways.
The bigger picture
Why marketplaces deserve dashboards, not nested admin tabs
BuddyBoss Marketplace captures the data running any peer-to-peer marketplace needs: how many listings exist, what categories they span, who is selling, who is buying and how the order rate moves over time. The default admin spreads that across listing screens, order screens and seller profiles, which is right for case-by-case work and unhelpful for marketplace-level decisions. An active-listings KPI anchors monthly health reports, a category pie surfaces balance or imbalance, a top-seller bar produces real featured-seller and review shortlists and an Area on order_date reveals whether promotions move volume.
Same listing CPT and order tables, completely different decision posture. The charts render the data the marketplace already records as a dashboard, which is the difference between knowing the marketplace is live and knowing how it is performing.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView Charts for BuddyBoss Marketplace
The marketplace listing CPT plus its postmeta, the marketplace order tables (BuddyBoss Marketplace's own or WooCommerce, depending on configuration) and the BuddyBoss profile data joined by user_id. No new tracking is added.
Yes. Where BuddyBoss Marketplace defers to WooCommerce for checkout, SleekView reads wp_wc_orders or wp_posts (depending on the WooCommerce HPOS configuration) joined with the listing CPT. The same chart cards apply with the same group_by columns.
Yes. The listing taxonomy becomes a first-class filter column. A category-only slice narrows every chart card on the dashboard at once, supporting per-category growth reviews.
Yes. Group orders by seller_id (or by the seller user_id on the listing) with a Bar card to rank sellers by order volume. The same dashboard can pair listing count and order count side by side.
Yes. Group by order_date or post_date with Area or Line cards and Count or Sum aggregation. Useful for evaluating category launches, promotions or seasonal cycles against a baseline.
Yes. The chart view and the table view share the dataset, so a filter on a category, seller or date range narrows both surfaces. Ops teams pivot between row audit and chart rollup without rebuilding filters.
The charts surface is read-only. The accompanying table view can update listing status or order status through the appropriate API (WP for the CPT, WooCommerce for orders) when explicitly enabled, but charts never write.
Yes. Any filtered cohort behind a chart card exports as CSV with the columns the table view shows, including listing_id, title, seller_id, category, order_id and order_date. Useful for monthly marketplace briefs.
