Defender splits its work across Hardener, Malware Scanning, Firewall, and Two-Factor. Each tab is sensible alone, but answering "what is the security posture of this site" needs all four together. SleekView already turns those tables into a single grid view; Charts adds the dashboard layer on top of the same data.

Hardening recommendations become a posture KPI. Scan findings break down by severity in a donut. Recent IP lockouts plot as a daily area chart. Two-factor enrolment shows as a radial gauge of admin and editor coverage. Every card reads the same Defender options and tables the grid view does, so the chart and the table never disagree.

The dashboard does not change how Defender works. Inline actions in the grid still route through Defender's own option API, and the chart cards refresh from the same cache. The point is to make the four screens legible as one screen, in chart form, for the role that owns posture across the site.

Defender stores rich data that its own admin renders as four sensible but separate tabs. The grid view in SleekView already collapses those tabs into one workspace. Charts extends that workspace into a posture dashboard, which is the artifact security leads actually need at the start of every review.

The four cards above are not novel for a SOC, they are simply the four numbers that summarise the four tabs. What is novel is that they live inside WP Admin, refresh from Defender's own runtime, and drill back into the same SleekView grid where actions get taken. Outstanding hardening is the KPI that opens the review.

Severity donut is the prioritisation lens for scan findings. Lockout area is the trend that catches noisy bots. 2FA radial is the gauge that anchors user-management ops.

Same Defender runtime, dramatically less navigation between knowing and doing, and a daily posture rhythm that does not depend on remembering to open four tabs.
