SleekView Charts for HD Quiz

HD Quiz stores quizzes and questions as CPTs and pairs with a Save Results addon for attempt history. SleekView Charts joins them into a dashboard with pass rate, outcome distribution, attempts over time, and total attempts on one screen.

SleekView Charts dashboard for HD Quiz

HD Quiz keeps it lightweight, but reporting stays per-quiz.

HD Quiz keeps its admin minimal on purpose. Quizzes and questions live as CPTs, and the optional Save Results addon writes attempts to its own table. The native screens cover one quiz at a time, with no dashboard view across the catalogue and no chart layer for outcome distribution or trend over time.

SleekView Charts reads the HD Quiz CPTs and the Save Results table together. A Number card counts total attempts. A Pie card splits passed and failed (or personality outcomes, for personality quizzes). A Bar card ranks quizzes by attempt volume. A Line card plots attempts per day so content marketing teams see when posts drove the most quiz traffic.

The dashboard sits next to the HD Quiz block on the front-end and the editor screens in the admin without changing how either works. Chart data refreshes live from the Save Results table, so each new attempt counts toward the next render of the cards.

Workflow

From HD Quiz CPTs to a chart dashboard

1

Detect HD Quiz storage

SleekView scans for HD Quiz CPTs and the Save Results addon table. If only core is active, attempt charts are disabled and quiz-volume charts still work from the CPT layer.
2

Pick chart types

Choose Pie for outcome split, Bar for quizzes ranked by attempts, Line for daily attempt volume, and a Number card for total attempts this month.
3

Group by quiz or outcome

Group attempts by quiz title for ranked charts; group by personality outcome label for content marketing dashboards; group by pass/fail for practice exam reviews.
4

Save and share

Save the dashboard under a named view and share it with editors, instructors, or marketing leads. Each chart refreshes live from the underlying CPTs and Save Results table.

Features

What SleekView Charts gives you for HD Quiz

Outcome distribution at a glance

Pie card grouped by HD Quiz outcome label shows which personality matches dominate or which pass/fail rate the practice exam delivers. Useful for content tuning and curriculum review.

Daily attempts trend

Line chart tracks attempts per day so editors can see traffic spikes from new posts and newsletters. Pairs nicely with the post-publish workflow.

Quiz popularity ranking

Bar chart sorted by attempt count tells you which quizzes are pulling readers and which are inert, so retiring underperforming quizzes is a data decision.

Audience

Who builds HD Quiz charts dashboards with SleekView

Content marketing

Bloggers running personality quizzes chart outcome distribution and daily attempts to see which posts and which outcomes drive social spread.

Practice exam tracking

Educators running practice tests chart pass rate and total attempts each week, so end-of-unit reviews start from real numbers rather than spreadsheets.

Editorial dashboards

Editors track quiz performance alongside post analytics, with a quick Bar card for ranked quiz popularity that informs which formats to commission next.

The bigger picture

Why lightweight quiz plugins still need charts

HD Quiz earned its following by being light to build with, but lightness in the admin became a ceiling for teams running many quizzes. A content team publishing twenty personality quizzes a quarter has nowhere to view outcome distribution across the lot. A driving school running practice exams has no chart that tracks pass rate week over week.

The data is already there in the Save Results table and the quiz CPTs; only the dashboard is missing. SleekView Charts treats HD Quiz like a real data source, with Pie, Bar, Line, and Number cards configured per role, so the reporting matches what the team already does in spreadsheets every Monday.

Questions

Common questions about SleekView Charts for HD Quiz

For attempt charts, yes. The free HD Quiz core does not persist attempts, so attempt-volume and outcome charts need the addon. Quiz-popularity charts based on CPT counts and metadata still work without it.

Yes. HD Quiz writes the outcome label for both pass/fail and personality quizzes, so the same Pie card surfaces both quiz types without reconfiguring. Filter to a single quiz to see one quiz's distribution.

Charts read live from the Save Results table on each load, with an optional cache window for high-traffic sites. The cache duration is configurable per chart, so heavy aggregates stay cheap to render.

Yes. Dashboard-wide filters scope every card to a single quiz, date range, or outcome label, so a per-quiz review is a one-click filter rather than a separate report.

Yes. The HD Quiz block and shortcode write to the same CPTs and Save Results table SleekView reads from, so attempts from any embed location appear on the dashboard.

Yes. Each chart card exports its aggregated data set to CSV, with the same group-by and filter as the on-screen card. Useful for monthly editorial reports or end-of-quarter reviews.

Charts run in WP Admin only, so front-end pages are unaffected. The Save Results table is indexed by attempt date, so daily-trend and total-attempts cards stay fast even on large quiz catalogues.

Yes. If you organize HD Quiz CPTs into taxonomies, any chart can group by that taxonomy term. Useful for academies that bucket quizzes by subject or topic.
