SleekView Charts for WP Business Directory
SleekView Charts reads the listing post type and submission meta WP Business Directory writes, then renders approval rate, category distribution and submission velocity as Number, Pie, Bar and Area cards instead of three separate admin screens.

A submission queue is not a dashboard
WP Business Directory stores listings as a standard post type and keeps the submission state in post_status plus the directory-specific meta it writes during submission. The default admin gives a queue, a filter for pending and an approval action. It does not give a sense of the queue as a moving system, or of how the directory is changing through the quarter.
SleekView Charts reads the same posts and meta directly. A Number card counts pending submissions waiting for moderation. A Pie splits all listings by their current status so the ratio of pending, published and rejected is visible at a glance. A Bar groups listings by category to spot which sections are growing. An Area trends submissions per day so moderators can see whether the queue is filling faster than it clears.
The chart data and the moderation table share one query layer, so a filter applied in the chart view scopes the row list, and an inline approval action made from the row list updates the chart on the next refresh. The directory plugin keeps owning the data model and the front-end templates.

Comparison
Default WP Business Directory admin vs SleekView Charts
Default listings admin
- Queue shows individual pending listings but no totals or ratios
- Status splits exist as filters, never as a visual breakdown
- Category distribution is invisible at the dashboard level
- Submission rate over time is not reported anywhere
- No way to share a read-only directory health snapshot
SleekView Charts
- KPI card for pending submissions across the directory
- Pie split across post_status for queue health
- Bar of listings per category for inventory balance
- Area trend of submissions per day for intake monitoring
- Filters carry between the moderation table and the chart cards
Features
What SleekView Charts gives you for WP Business Directory
Moderation as a dashboard
Render the queue as a KPI, a status pie and an intake trend so moderators can see the shape of the work, not just one row at a time.
Filters span table and chart
Apply a filter once and both the row list and the chart cards scope to it. Moderators pivot between detail and summary on the same dataset.
Trend the queue over time
An Area chart of submissions per day shows whether intake is accelerating, stable or in decline. Useful before staffing a moderation rotation.
Audience
Who builds WP Business Directory charts dashboards with SleekView
Moderators
Watch pending count, status split and intake trend as one cockpit. Spot when the queue grows faster than the team can clear it and adjust staffing early.
Directory owners
Track total inventory, category balance and growth rate quarter over quarter. Quote partners and sponsors with a real number instead of a vague claim.
Ops leads
Compare submission velocity against approval velocity. Set service-level expectations for moderation against an honest baseline rather than a vibe.
The bigger picture
Why a directory queue needs a dashboard alongside the row list
WP Business Directory does the row work cleanly. Each listing has a clear page, each pending submission has an approve action, and the admin gets out of the way once a moderator knows what to click. The gap is one level up.
Owners need to answer questions about the directory as a whole: how many listings are pending right now, how the inventory splits across categories, whether submission rate is accelerating or fading. None of those questions fit a paginated row list. SleekView Charts renders them as cards over the same posts and meta.
The plugin keeps owning its data model, the front-end keeps working unchanged, and the moderation team gets a reporting layer that matches the scale of the directory.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView Charts for WP Business Directory
The listing post type WP Business Directory registers, the category taxonomy it uses, the post_status applied as the approval state and the submission meta written on each row. No premium add-on is required and SleekView creates no shadow tables.
Yes. A filter applied in the chart view scopes the row list under it, and a filter set on the row list reshapes the chart cards. The two surfaces sit on the same dataset and the same query.
Yes. Combine a published-status filter with an Area chart on post_modified to see approvals per day, or compare the published curve against the submission curve to see whether intake outpaces approvals.
Yes. Each saved dashboard is gated by WordPress capability, so moderators, owners and sales each see the slice that matches their role while everything stays in the same admin surface.
Yes. SleekView is admin-only. The front-end directory archives, category pages and listing detail templates render exactly as WP Business Directory configures them. Inline edits made in the admin write through the plugin's normal save paths so hooks still fire.
Yes. Any filtered set behind a card exports as CSV with the same columns the row view shows. Useful for sharing moderation reports, sponsor inventory snapshots or quarterly board updates.
Yes. SleekView reads through indexed columns and aggregates server-side, so dashboards on directories with tens of thousands of listings stay responsive. Card refresh is virtualized, so the browser only renders the cards in the viewport.
Yes. Group a Bar card by category with a date filter scoped to a quarter, and duplicate the card for the previous quarter. Side by side, the two bars surface which categories grew and which contracted.
