SleekView Charts for wpForo Advanced Views: forum dashboards
wpForo stores forums, topics, and replies in dedicated tables and Advanced Views adds richer reporting on topic views. SleekView Charts groups that data into Number, Bar, Pie, and Area cards so forum admins see traffic, hot topics, and active members in one screen instead of scrolling list tables.

From wpForo tables to a real forum dashboard
wpForo runs on its own schema: wpforo_topics stores every topic with view counts, reply counts, and a status column; wpforo_posts stores every reply with user and topic IDs; wpforo_forums defines the forum tree; and wpforo_profiles tracks per-user counts. Advanced Views adds more granular topic-view data on top of that, but none of it surfaces as a real chart in the wpForo dashboard.
SleekView Charts treats those tables as a chart source. Each card picks a column to group by (forum ID, status, user ID, date) and aggregates Count, Sum, Average, Maximum, or Minimum across the rows. The result is a forum dashboard that reads live wpForo tables, so a topic posted five minutes ago shows up the next time a card refreshes.
A typical setup combines a top-line Number card for posts this week, an Area card for daily activity, a Pie card for traffic split per forum, and a Bar card for the top topics by views. Forum moderators get one tab with the answers they used to chase through admin lists, and the data is the same data wpForo itself reads, not a separate export.

Choose group and aggregation
created timestamp. Aggregate with Count, Sum, Average, Maximum, or Minimum to get the slice you actually want on a card.
Pick the chart shape
created, Pie for share by forum, Bar for top topics by view count. Each card lives in the same dashboard.

Comparison
Default wpForo admin vs SleekView Charts
Default wpForo admin
- Topic and post screens are list tables with paging, not summary charts
- View counters on topics exist as a column but never roll up to a dashboard
- Per-forum activity comparison needs manual filtering and exports
- No time-series view of daily or weekly posting activity
- Top topics by views or replies require third-party tools to chart

Features
What SleekView Charts gives you for wpForo Advanced Views
Cards over the live wpForo tables
Every card queries wpforo_topics, wpforo_posts, or the related profile tables directly. No nightly export, no second analytics database, so what moderators see in the queue and what admins see on the dashboard always match.
Mix Number, Area, Pie, and Bar
Build a top-line KPI in Number, a daily trend in Area, a per-forum split in Pie, and a top-topics leaderboard in Bar. Seven chart types cover most forum questions in one or two clicks per card.
Role-scoped dashboards
Save a dashboard per role and gate it by capability. Admins land on traffic, moderators on activity and reports, community managers on the engagement view. One install, three lenses on the same data.
Audience
Who builds wpForo dashboards with SleekView
Community managers
Posts per day plus a per-forum pie, so it is obvious which forum is carrying the discussion and which has gone quiet without scrolling lists.
Moderators
Daily post volume and a per-status bar for topics flagged or closed. Pressure trends become visible before the queue overflows on a busy weekend.
SEO and growth
Top topics by view counts and a per-forum traffic split, refreshed against live data. The threads that drive search traffic stop hiding behind list pagination.
The bigger picture
Why forum admins need charts, not lists
Forum health is a trend question. Are weekly posts climbing or sliding compared to last quarter. Which forum is doing the work.
Which topics are pulling traffic that the team should keep nurturing. wpForo stores all of that in wpforo_topics and wpforo_posts, but the default admin shows lists, not trends. Teams that want a real picture export rows to a spreadsheet weekly or install a generic analytics plugin that does not understand the wpforo schema.
SleekView Charts is the in-admin option. Configure a card against the table the forum already uses, save the dashboard once, and the moderators, admins, and community managers each see the slice that matters to them. The same row that powers the topic list also powers the dashboard, so the two never drift out of sync, and the forum dashboard becomes part of WordPress instead of a separate tool to maintain.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView Charts for wpForo Advanced Views
Either works. SleekView Charts reads the wpforo_topics, wpforo_posts, wpforo_forums, and wpforo_profiles tables that the free wpForo plugin creates. wpForo Advanced Views adds richer view tracking on the same tables, so cards keep working when you upgrade.
Yes. A Pie or Bar card groups wpforo_topics rows by forumid and counts them. The forum name resolves from wpforo_forums.title, so the legend reads as forum names rather than numeric IDs.
wpForo stores a views column on each wpforo_topics row. A Bar card grouped by topic ID, aggregated by Sum over views, ranks the highest-traffic threads. Use the Horizontal variant when titles are long enough that vertical bars get truncated.
Yes. Each wpforo_posts row carries a created timestamp. An Area card grouped by that column with a Count aggregation gives a clean per-day post trend, scoped to the date range you set on the card.
Yes. Most cards either aggregate across all forums or split by forumid with one bar or slice per forum. There is no limit on the number of forums a single card can cover, and a card can be filtered to one or more forums when needed.
Cards run against the live wpforo_* tables every time a dashboard loads or a card refreshes. There is no nightly export step, so a topic created in the last minute shows up the next time a card draws.
Cards use indexed queries against the same columns wpForo itself reads, so a large forum loads cards in roughly the same time the standard wpForo admin takes. For very large datasets, scope cards to a date range (last 30 or 90 days) to keep aggregations tight and responsive.
Yes. Save a dashboard, gate it by capability or role, and each persona lands on the right view. Admins open the traffic dashboard, moderators open the activity-and-flags view, community managers open the engagement leaderboard, all from one SleekView install.
