Quaderno for WooCommerce issues VAT-compliant invoices for EU and worldwide sales, captures B2B VAT IDs via VIES validation, and pushes the data into Quaderno's reporting engine. The Quaderno invoice ID, VIES validation result, customer country, and VAT scheme (B2C, B2B reverse charge, OSS) all live in wc_orders_meta keys the plugin writes. The default WooCommerce orders list doesn't show any of that.

SleekView reads wc_orders and joins Quaderno's meta keys as columns. A finance view shows order ID, customer country, VAT ID, VAT scheme, Quaderno invoice ID, and invoice status side by side. Filter to OSS-eligible orders shipping to Germany for the quarterly OSS return, or to orders missing a Quaderno invoice because the API call failed.

Inline edits route through WooCommerce CRUD where supported, so updating a VAT ID or country fires the order-update hooks Quaderno listens for. Re-trigger missing invoices in bulk by toggling the relevant meta flag, instead of clicking into each order one by one.

Selling digital products and physical goods across the EU means OSS returns, B2B reverse-charge invoices, VIES VAT-ID validation, and worldwide tax regimes for non-EU markets. Quaderno handles the issuing and the reporting, but the data that proves a return is correct (invoice IDs, VAT schemes, VIES results, destination countries) lives in wc_orders_meta where the default WooCommerce orders list cannot reach it. Finance teams export to spreadsheets, accounting teams chase missing invoices order by order, and compliance teams notice VIES regressions only at audit time.

SleekView turns the orders list into a queryable view with invoice ID, VAT scheme, and VIES status as columns. OSS reconciliation by country and period becomes a saved view, not a quarterly project. Failed-invoice retries become a bulk inline action, not a click-through.
