SleekView table view for WooCommerce Shipping Pickup Location

Pickup detail is per-order; the operational view is the location list

WooCommerce Shipping Pickup Location adds local pickup as a structured shipping method: customers pick a specific physical pickup point at checkout (a store, a depot, a partner-network location), the plugin saves the chosen location ID and label as meta on the order, and the order ships to that pickup point.

The default WooCommerce orders screen shows totals and statuses but pushes the pickup-location detail into per-order metaboxes. Pulling up today's pickup orders for branch 7, sorting by status, or filtering to a single location for a store-manager view requires per-order drill-downs.

SleekView reads the same pickup-location meta keys joined with wc_orders. Pickup location, status, customer and order date become real, sortable columns. Store managers see only their location through a capability-gated saved view; ops sees every pickup point on one screen.

Workflow

How SleekView reads WooCommerce Shipping Pickup Location data

1

Pick the data source

Point SleekView at wc_orders joined with _pickup_location_id, _pickup_location_name, _shipping_method and date_created. One row per order, with pickup or delivery flagged.
2

Compose the column set

Add order ID, customer, pickup location name, shipping method, order status and order date. Hide what the role doesn't need.
3

Save and scope the view

Name it ("Pickup today: branch 7", "All pickup awaiting collection") and gate by WordPress capability so each store manager sees only their location.
4

Edit inline or export

Mark orders as ready for collection, complete them at pickup or export the day's pickup list for the in-store team. Edits route through Woo's CRUD.

Sample columns

A typical pickup-orders table

SleekView joins wc_orders with the pickup-location meta the plugin writes, so location, method, status and order date appear next to the order ID.

Comparison

Default Pickup Location admin vs SleekView

Default Pickup Location admin

  • The Pickup Location admin is a list of locations, not an orders table
  • Today's pickup-order list per location requires manual filtering
  • Order status by pickup point is not surfaced in a column
  • Per-location capability scoping is not built in
  • Bulk operations across pickup orders are limited

SleekView

  • Reads wc_orders joined with pickup-location meta as one dataset
  • Pickup location, method, status and order date as sortable columns
  • Filter by location, method or status
  • Save per-location views gated by WordPress capability so each store manager sees only their site
  • Inline edits route through Woo CRUD so hooks still fire

Features

What SleekView gives you for WooCommerce Shipping Pickup Location

Pickup location as a real column

Branch 7, Branch 12 and partner-network locations all show as a sortable column. A per-store pickup list is a filter, not a per-order drill.

Inline edits through CRUD

Mark a pickup order as ready for collection or as completed at pickup. Edits flow through Woo's CRUD so customer-notification hooks fire.

Compose precise filters

Combine pickup location, order status and date range into a saved filter. The in-store pickup view becomes a named preset per store.

Audience

Who uses SleekView for WooCommerce Shipping Pickup Location

Individual store managers

Filter the view to one pickup location for the store-level work queue. Daily ready-for-pickup and awaiting-customer lists become saved presets.

Multi-store ops managers

See every pickup location on one screen to balance load, identify dormant points and resolve held orders before they age out.

Customer support leads

Filter by customer or location to find the right pickup order for a where-is-my-pickup query. The same data drives the response across the team.

The bigger picture

Pickup networks earn their keep when the orders are easy to work

Pickup-as-a-shipping-method is one of the lowest-cost fulfilment options a store can offer, but only when the in-store team can actually find the orders quickly. Without a real table, store staff sees per-order detail (this order is for branch 12) without seeing the work queue (15 orders for branch 7, three awaiting customer for two weeks at the partner network point). SleekView puts pickup location, method, status and order date on a sortable, filterable table where every store manager sees only their location, and ops sees the whole network on one screen.

The plugin keeps owning the checkout flow, the location registry and the per-order routing. SleekView is the workspace where pickup orders get worked.

Questions

Common questions about SleekView for WooCommerce Shipping Pickup Location

Yes. The plugin saves the chosen location ID and label regardless of whether the pickup point is store-owned or external. Both appear as values in the pickup-location column and can be filtered for separately.

Yes. Each saved view is gated by WordPress capability and the filters carry the location name. A store manager logged into WP Admin sees only their location; an ops admin with site-wide capability flips between locations from a saved preset.

If the plugin captures a pickup-time-slot meta key, it becomes its own sortable column. Daily time-slot lists per location help the in-store team plan staffing for peak windows.

Yes. SleekView writes through Woo's CRUD layer so order-status, email-notification and pickup-ready hooks fire when a row is edited.

Yes. Multi-select rows and apply a bulk status change through the standard Woo update path. Pickup-ready emails send normally for each row affected.

Yes. New pickup locations appear in the table the next time the view refreshes after the first order chooses them. No view reconfiguration needed.

No. wc_orders is indexed on date_created and status and SleekView's joins use those indexes. High-volume pickup networks render in well under a second on typical hardware.

Yes. Any filtered view exports to CSV (or prints) with the same columns shown, ready for the morning pickup-counter handoff.
