SleekView for WP All Import Pro: scheduled runs & provenance as tables

WP All Import Pro logs every scheduled and manual run to pmxi_imports, pmxi_history, and pmxi_posts. SleekView reads them directly so per-cron audits, partial-run triage, and post provenance live in one workspace.

SleekView table view for WP All Import Pro

Pro scheduling deserves a Pro audit view

WP All Import Pro adds scheduled cron runs, conditional import logic, and bigger file handling on top of the Free engine, but the underlying tables remain the pmxi_ family. Each run lands in pmxi_imports, every batch updates pmxi_history with created, updated, skipped, and deleted counts, and every touched post is recorded in pmxi_posts. The plugin UI still lists imports one card at a time.

SleekView reads pmxi_imports joined to pmxi_history as a flat workspace. The Pro scheduled flag becomes a top-level filter so cron-driven runs separate from manual triggers. Counts pivot into sortable columns so a missed cron tick across the vendor catalog stops hiding behind per-card pagination.

A second view joins pmxi_posts back to wp_posts, so any product or CPT row carries the Pro import that last touched it. The provenance is the same as Free; only Pro's higher cron cadence makes the audit even more necessary.

Workflow

Audit every Pro cron run from one screen

1

Map the pmxi_ tables

Point SleekView at wp_pmxi_imports, wp_pmxi_history, and wp_pmxi_posts. The agent samples columns and offers ready-made joins for counts and provenance.
2

Surface the scheduled flag

Pivot the scheduled flag as a top-level filter. Cron-driven runs and manual triggers split with one click, so diagnosing missed cron events is instant.
3

Trend run counts

Project the last seven pmxi_history rows per import as trend columns. Sort by skipped descending to find anomalies before they hit the storefront.
4

Save role-scoped views

Ops gets full counts and scheduled-flag filters. Support gets a slim provenance view. Both ride the same underlying tables with capability gating per role.

Sample columns

A typical scheduled-runs view

One row per scheduled run with created, updated, and outcome.

Comparison

Default WP All Import Pro admin vs SleekView

Default WP All Import Pro admin

  • Pro adds cron scheduling without adding a cross-import audit view
  • Filtering by scheduled flag, run age, or skipped count is per-import only
  • Conditional import logic outcomes (skipped vs filtered) live in pmxi_history rows that the UI does not surface as columns
  • Bulk pause across many imports goes one card at a time
  • Per-post provenance via pmxi_posts needs SQL to query

SleekView

  • Reads pmxi_imports + pmxi_history + pmxi_posts directly
  • Surfaces the scheduled flag as a top-level filter
  • Pivots created, updated, skipped, and deleted into sortable columns
  • Joins pmxi_posts to wp_posts for one-click provenance
  • Saves role-scoped presets for ops, data quality, and integrations

Features

What SleekView gives you for WP All Import Pro

Scheduled vs manual

Toggle the scheduled filter on pmxi_imports to separate cron-driven runs from manual triggers. Diagnosing a missed cron event becomes a one-click view.

Run history per import

Pivot pmxi_history into trend columns: last seven runs with created, updated, and skipped counts inline. Spot vendor-feed drift before tickets land.

Per-post provenance

Join pmxi_posts back to wp_posts so every product carries the Pro import that last touched it. Orphan-record investigations stop being archaeology.

Audience

Who uses SleekView for WP All Import Pro

Data ops

Daily review of every cron-driven import with last-run, counts, and status. Spot missed schedules before downstream teams notice.

Data quality

Investigate climbing skipped counts on the vendor catalog by trending pmxi_history over the last fourteen days, filterable per import.

Support

Answer "which import last touched this SKU" without opening the WP All Import Pro UI. The pmxi_posts join surfaces provenance inline.

The bigger picture

Why Pro scheduling needs Pro auditing

Adding cron scheduling to imports without adding a cross-import audit view is the kind of feature debt that catches up at scale. A single manual import is easy to verify, but ten scheduled imports running across staggered crons are not. WP All Import Pro upgrades the engine for that scale without upgrading the UI to match.

The result is a default admin that lists imports one card at a time even when the underlying data shows missed cron ticks, climbing skipped counts, and stale schedules that no one has owned since the last cron rewrite. Reading the pmxi tables directly turns those signals into sortable columns. Scheduled vs manual becomes a one-click filter.

Per-post provenance stops requiring SQL. The cost is a single view setup; the gain is daily ops confidence that every Pro-scheduled import actually ran and produced what it should have. The plugin keeps owning the cron engine.

SleekView owns the audit surface that makes the cron engine trustworthy.

Questions

Common questions about SleekView for WP All Import Pro

No. Pro extends scheduling and conditional logic but the persisted state stays in the pmxi_ family. SleekView reads Free and Pro from the same view configuration without any switch needed.

Yes. The scheduled flag stored on each pmxi_imports row is exposed as a filterable column. Filtering to scheduled=1 isolates cron-driven runs from manual triggers instantly.

Yes. The pmxi_images table tracks every image attempted by the importer with its source URL, attachment ID, and any error. SleekView exposes that as a separate joinable view.

Yes. SleekView calls WP All Import Pro's run API on row actions where supported, so the same hooks fire as a manual run, including image-pipeline and post-process steps. The action is capability-gated.

Yes. SleekView paginates and indexes server-side. The pmxi_ tables are already indexed by import_id and run timestamp, which the views take advantage of.

Yes. Views are capability-gated. Support gets a slim provenance view; data ops gets full counts and scheduled-flag filters. Each role saves its own presets.

Add a computed column comparing the current skipped count to the rolling average per import. Sort descending to surface anomalies first. That is the single most useful audit pattern for vendor-catalog drift.

Where the Pro conditional engine writes a skip reason into the pmxi_history row, SleekView parses it into a filterable column. Filtering by skip reason narrows triage to one condition at a time.
