SleekView for WP YouTube Lyte
SleekView reads the lyte_settings options, scans the lyte thumbnail cache and parses post_content for lyte shortcodes and converted YouTube URLs, then renders the embed catalog as a sortable, filterable table with embed form, host post and cache state as real columns.
♾️ Lifetime License available
WP YouTube Lyte ships lite embeds. The catalog needs a real list.
WP YouTube Lyte replaces standard YouTube embeds with a much lighter placeholder until the visitor clicks play. Configuration lives in lyte_settings, thumbnails are cached under wp-content/cache/lyte/, and lyte shortcodes and auto-converted YouTube URLs sit inside the post_content of wp_posts. The plugin's settings screen tracks options and a few global counters but offers no per-post or per-post-type list.
SleekView indexes the lyte_settings options, scans the thumbnail cache directory and parses post_content for both shortcode and URL forms. Embed form (shortcode vs URL), host post, host post type, cache state and post date sit as sortable, filterable columns next to a permalink. Pull every lite embed on a custom post type or every embed whose thumbnail cache went stale without opening any post.
Inline edits go through the standard WordPress CRUD layer, so post-save hooks still fire and WP YouTube Lyte continues to rewrite YouTube embeds and manage the thumbnail cache as before. The lite-embed rewrite pipeline is not touched.

Features
What SleekView gives you for WP YouTube Lyte
Cache state as a real column
Surface thumbnail cache state alongside embed form and host post. Stale or missing thumbnails move from a buried directory to a sortable column the team can audit.
Inline edits through CRUD
Bulk-update host post status, switch authors or correct slugs. Edits go through standard WordPress hooks and the lite-embed rewrite pipeline stays untouched.
Compose precise filters
Combine embed form, post type and cache state into a saved filter. A stale-thumbnail audit becomes a single named view instead of a directory listing.
Audience
Who uses SleekView for WP YouTube Lyte
Performance engineers
Filter to lite embeds with a stale or missing cache to spot videos that will fall back to a heavier render until the thumbnail refreshes.
Agency support
Hand support staff a read-only table of where lite embeds appear so they confirm video coverage on client sites without touching settings.
Editorial video leads
Pull every YouTube URL auto-converted to a lite embed in the past week to confirm new editorial output keeps the lightweight player.
The bigger picture
Why WP YouTube Lyte coverage needs a real table
WP YouTube Lyte solves a real performance problem by deferring the heavy YouTube iframe until a visitor clicks play. Without a per-post list, the team has no easy way to confirm coverage holds after a theme update, a block editor change or a migration. SleekView reads the option row, the cached thumbnail directory and the parsed post content as the structured data they already are.
Engineers spot embeds whose cache went stale. Agency support fields client questions from a read-only slice. Editors confirm new YouTube URLs converted into lite embeds.
The plugin keeps doing the rewrite and caching work it does well, and SleekView gives the team a reading layer they can share.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView for WP YouTube Lyte
No. WP YouTube Lyte still owns the lite-embed rewrite and the thumbnail caching. SleekView is an additional admin surface that reads the same options, cache directory and parsed post content so the embed catalog becomes legible at a glance.
No. SleekView reads only the data WP YouTube Lyte has already produced: option values, cached thumbnails on disk and lite-embed markers in post_content. No external request goes to YouTube.
Yes. SleekView records whether each lite embed came from a lyte shortcode or an auto-converted URL, so a saved filter can split the two forms without mixing them.
Yes. The thumbnail cache directory is a SleekView data source, so cache state (cached, stale, missing) sits as a sortable column next to host post.
Yes. Each indexed embed carries the post_type of its host post, so a saved filter can scope the table to page, post or any custom post type.
Yes. Select rows, pick a new host post status, and SleekView writes the changes through wp_update_post. Post-status hooks and any plugins listening on save still fire as expected.
Yes. Each saved view captures column set, filters and sort order. Gate it by WordPress capability so engineers see a stale-thumbnail audit, agency staff see a client slice, and editors see a recent-embed list.
Yes. Any filtered set exports as CSV with the same columns the view shows, useful for a video coverage audit handed to a stakeholder.
