Compliance is data the plugin already collects

WPCompliance bundles cookie consent, policy generation and subject-request handling into a single WordPress plugin. Each module writes its own data: the cookie banner records consent decisions per visitor, the policy generator stores which policies were generated and last reviewed, and the request handler keeps a log of access and erasure requests with their status.

The plugin's admin uses tabs per module, which is appropriate per site but does not give a posture view. Which requests are still open, which consent decisions came from the marketing module, when the policy was last refreshed, all live behind separate tabs. Answering across them today means clicking through and exporting CSVs.

SleekView reads the WPCompliance consent table, policy metadata and request log directly. Sort by decision_date to see the latest consent. Filter by request_status to drain the open queue, by active_module to see which modules write what, by site to compare installs. The plugin still owns the modules and the workflow. SleekView only adds the sortable triage surface.

Workflow

From WPCompliance modules to a real posture table

1

Connect the module stores

SleekView lists the WPCompliance consent decisions table, policy metadata and request log as datasets, with active_module, request_status, consent_decision and decision_date pre-mapped as filterable columns.
2

Pick the audit columns

Time, source module, type, subject, status and reviewer. Six columns map cleanly to the posture and queue questions a privacy officer asks.
3

Save the open-request view

Filter to request_status equals open and save it. The queue to drain stays one click away instead of being rebuilt by switching module tabs.
4

Export the queue or evidence pack

Any filtered view exports to CSV with the same columns the table shows. The team handling subject requests gets a concrete worklist.

Comparison

Default WPCompliance admin vs SleekView

Default WPCompliance module tabs

  • Module tabs are per-site, with no cross-module reading surface
  • Consent, policy and request figures live on separate tabs
  • Open-request queue requires a CSV pivot to size
  • Following one subject across modules is not supported
  • No read-only sharing of the posture outside WP admin

SleekView

  • Consent, policy and request stores readable as one workspace
  • Sort and filter by source module, type, status or date
  • Saved views like 'open requests' or 'recent erasures'
  • Per-role scoping for privacy officers and ops handlers
  • Filtered exports for queue handoff and DPIA evidence

Features

What SleekView gives you for WPCompliance

Posture as a workspace

The WPCompliance consent, policy and request stores become one queryable table, so privacy officers stop bouncing between module tabs to reconstruct a subject's record.

Cross-module filters

Filter by source module, request_status or active_module and combine with date to isolate exactly the slice ops or counsel is asking about.

Share with privacy and ops

Saved views can be gated by WordPress capability and shared with privacy counsel or the ops team handling the request queue, with no access to the modules themselves.

Audience

Who uses SleekView for WPCompliance

Privacy officers

A saved view of open requests over the last 30 days replaces flipping through WPCompliance tabs. The same filter exports to CSV when the queue handoff happens.

Agency compliance leads

Per-client posture table means quarterly reviews stop being screenshots. Active-modules, request status and consent volumes appear on one row per site.

Multisite admins

Filter by active_module to surface sites where the consent module is disabled. The gap appears the next time the dashboard loads, not at the next review.

The bigger picture

Why a bundled compliance plugin still needs a reading surface

WPCompliance bundles three jobs into one plugin: consent banner, policy generator and request handler. Each module produces its own data, and each has its own tab in the admin. The questions privacy officers and agency leads ask cross those tabs.

How many decisions did the banner capture, how many requests are still open, which modules are actually active, did the latest policy review complete. SleekView reads the same stores and renders them as one sortable workspace. Same plugin, same modules, but a posture surface that matches how DPIA evidence and queue management actually get done.
