SleekView table view for YITH WooCommerce Sales Countdown

Move sale audit out of product editors and into a promotion table

YITH Sales Countdown adds urgency timers to WooCommerce products that have a sale price and a sale-to date. The data is standard WooCommerce: _regular_price, _sale_price, _sale_price_dates_from and _sale_price_dates_to in postmeta. The default Products screen shows on-sale status one row at a time and hides the promo's overall shape (which products end when, which categories are deepest, which sales haven't actually started yet).

SleekView reads the same meta and renders the active promotion as a sortable table. Product, regular price, sale price, discount percent, sale-from, sale-to and stock all sit as real columns. Filter to sales ending in the next 48 hours to triage urgency banners. Filter to discount > 40% to spot promos that may overshoot margin. Sort by sale-to asc to plan inventory for the day after the timer expires.

The plugin keeps owning the countdown UI on the product page. SleekView owns the promotion audit, so the sale meta WooCommerce already stores stops hiding inside per-product editors and becomes something the promotions team can query row by row.

Workflow

How SleekView surfaces YITH Sales Countdown data

1

Point at sale meta

Pick wp_posts where post_type = product joined with wp_postmeta for _regular_price, _sale_price, _sale_price_dates_from, _sale_price_dates_to and stock. Variations join through their parent.
2

Compose the columns

Drag in Product, Regular price, Sale price, Discount, Sale window, Stock and Categories. Reorder, hide or rename any column without a custom hook.
3

Filter and sort like a database

Filter to sales ending in 48 hours, to discount > 40%, to scheduled sales (sale-from in future) or to specific categories. Sort by sale-to asc for end-of-sale planning.
4

Save and gate the view

Name the view ("Ending in 48 hours", "Deep discounts audit", "Upcoming scheduled sales") and gate by capability so promotion teams, merchandising leads and editors land on the right slice.

Comparison

Default YITH Sales Countdown admin vs SleekView

Default WooCommerce Products screen

  • On-sale status shows one row at a time with no aggregate sale state
  • Sales ending soon aren't surfaced as a filterable cohort
  • Discount percentage isn't a column, it has to be computed by eye
  • Scheduled sales mix in with live ones without a distinct status
  • No saved views for promotion teams, merchandising and editors

SleekView

  • Every on-sale product rendered as a queryable row
  • Discount percent, sale window and stock as real sortable columns
  • Filter to ending-soon, deep discounts or scheduled sales in one query
  • Saved views per role: promo triage, merchandising audit, editor review
  • Same dataset the chart view aggregates, so table and dashboard stay in sync

Features

What SleekView gives you for YITH WooCommerce Sales Countdown

Live sale state as a real table

Render every on-sale product with regular price, sale price and discount as columns instead of opening editors to read the dates.

Composable sale filters

Stack filters on discount band, sale-to window and category to assemble ending-soon queues, deep-discount audits or category-specific promo reviews in one query.

Window inline

Sale-from and sale-to render on every row, so the audit table answers which timers fire today, which fire next week and which haven't started yet.

Audience

Who uses SleekView for YITH WooCommerce Sales Countdown

Promotion teams

Open the Ending in 48 Hours saved view each morning during a campaign. Triage stock, banner placement and urgency emails from a single filtered grid.

Merchandising leads

Filter to deep discounts and group by category to confirm the promo isn't accidentally concentrated where margin can't absorb it.

Seasonal campaign managers

Filter to scheduled sales (sale-from in future) to confirm every product the brief promised actually has its window configured before launch day.

The bigger picture

Why active-sale data deserves a real table

Countdown timers feel urgent on the storefront and invisible in the admin. YITH renders them cleanly, the gap is that the operator running the promo has no aggregate surface for which products are actually on sale, how deep the discounts go, which ones end first and which scheduled ones haven't kicked in yet. SleekView reads the same _sale_price and date meta WooCommerce already stores and renders every on-sale product as a row with discount percent, sale window and stock as real columns.

Filters stack into a single query so the ending-soon triage, the deep-discount audit and the scheduled-sale review become saved views rather than mental tracking. The plugin keeps owning the countdown UI on the product page, while the promotions team finally gets the live audit surface the data always supported.

Questions

Common questions about SleekView for YITH WooCommerce Sales Countdown

wp_posts for products and product_variations joined with wp_postmeta for _regular_price, _sale_price, _sale_price_dates_from and _sale_price_dates_to. No new tables are introduced.

Yes. Each variation carries its own _sale_price meta, and SleekView reads variations as rows under their parent product. A parent-only filter or a variation-detail filter is available.

Yes. sale-from in future is a one-click filter. Promotion teams use it the day before launch to confirm every scheduled timer is actually wired up.

Yes, when explicitly enabled. Inline edits route through the WooCommerce product API so plugin hooks and the countdown UI observe the writes exactly as if they had been entered on the product editor.

Yes. The chart view and the table view share the dataset, so a category filter or a sale-to slice narrows both surfaces. Promo teams pivot between row triage and coverage rollup without rebuilding filters.

Partially. The table reads per-product sale meta directly. Coupon-driven discounts apply at checkout rather than to _sale_price, so they don't show up as a row-level sale here. Coupon order data is queryable via a separate WooCommerce dataset.

Yes. Any filtered cohort exports as CSV with the visible columns, including discount percent and sale window. Useful for promo retros and stock planning briefs.

Yes. SleekView paginates products and uses indexed joins on sale meta, so stores with tens of thousands of SKUs still load the live-sale audit without timing out admin requests.
