Why Fluent Forms Pro submissions deserve a real board
Fluent Forms Pro stores every submission in wp_fluentform_submissions with statuses of unread, read, favourites, or trashed and rich Pro field support including conversational forms, multi-step layouts, repeater fields, payment fields, and quiz scoring. Submission meta lives in wp_fluentform_submission_meta. The default Pro UI shows submissions as a paginated table that respects status filters, which works for low volume but loses every signal about triage and ownership at scale.
SleekView reads the same tables, joins to submission meta for every Pro field value, and surfaces all of them as possible grouping axes. The natural one is the built-in status, but Pro forms typically benefit from grouping by a custom Triage stage dropdown, by quiz score range, by payment status from the Pro payment integration, or by conversational form completion step for partial submissions.
Dragging a card writes the new value back through Fluent Forms own submission update method, which fires the standard fluentform/submission_status_change and related Pro hooks. FluentCRM tag updates, Slack messages, and any Pro integration listener continues to run. Trashed submissions and incomplete partial submissions from save-and-continue flows are filtered out of active boards by default but can be exposed on dedicated review boards for the teams that handle those edge cases.

Comparison
Default Fluent Forms Pro list versus SleekView Kanban
Default Fluent Forms Pro entries
- Submissions land in a paginated table with no Pro-feature pipeline depth visible
- Quiz scores and payment status require opening each submission to review individually
- Conversational form completion steps cannot be visualized as a funnel
- Multi-step form abandonment data exists but cannot drive a recovery workflow
- Team handoffs rely on the favourites star since the table has no assignment concept

Features
What SleekView Kanban gives you for Fluent Forms Pro
Pro fields as first-class columns
Every Pro field type including conversational form steps, multi-step layouts, repeater rows, payment fields, and quiz scoring is exposed as both a grouping axis and a card face element. Pro features make the board substantially more powerful than the basic Fluent Forms equivalent.
Drag-and-drop writes back to submissions
Moving a card calls the Fluent Forms submission update method, which fires the standard status change action and Pro feature hooks. FluentCRM tags, Pro payment integrations, and Slack feeds all stay in sync without the board becoming a parallel state the team has to reconcile.
Quiz and assessment scoring boards
Group quiz submissions by score range to see high-scorers, mid-scorers, and low-scorers in distinct columns. The board doubles as a qualification view for assessment forms where score directly drives the next outreach action by the sales or onboarding team.
Audience
Common Fluent Forms Pro boards teams build
Contact form triage
Group new submissions by triage stage so the support team knows what is fresh, what is in progress, and what was closed yesterday without scrolling through the global Pro submissions table by hand.
Quiz qualification board
Group quiz submissions by score range so sales can prioritize high-scoring leads who passed the assessment first and route mid-scoring leads to a nurture sequence instead of cold outreach.
Pro payment recovery
Group paid submissions by Pro payment integration status so finance can see captured, pending, and failed transactions at a glance and chase the pending ones before they age out and fall through.
The bigger picture
Why a Pro board beats a Fluent Forms entries list
Fluent Forms Pro is excellent at supporting Pro field types like conversational forms, multi-step layouts, quiz scoring, and payment integrations, but its admin still treats every submission as a row in a table. That works for a low-volume contact form. It stops working the moment Pro features are doing real work: quizzes are qualifying leads, conversational forms are building rapport, multi-step forms are collecting complex data, and payment integrations are processing transactions, all on the same form at scale.
A kanban board fixes the part Pro was never designed to fix: Pro feature visibility. Each column shows how many submissions are in each Pro state, so teams can prioritize quiz-qualified leads, recover incomplete conversational form flows, and chase pending payments without ever leaving the admin. Status changes happen with a drag instead of three clicks per submission, which compounds quickly once Pro features are running at scale.
Because every column maps back to a real Pro field on the submission, the board is not a parallel system that drifts. The end result is a Fluent Forms Pro admin that finally matches how teams actually work with Pro features.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView Kanban for Fluent Forms Pro
The drag calls the standard Fluent Forms submission update method, so the change persists to the row in wp_fluentform_submissions and fires the standard status change action. FluentCRM tags, Pro payment integrations, and Slack feeds all see the change as if you had edited the submission from the default admin.
Yes. Every Pro field including quiz score, payment status from the Pro payment integration, and multi-step completion step is exposed as a groupable field. This makes Pro forms substantially more useful as kanban data sources than basic Fluent Forms instances ever could be.
Yes. Conversational form submissions are stored in the same submissions table with the completion step recorded in meta. Group by completion step to build a funnel view of where users drop out of conversational forms and intervene before they abandon the experience.
Yes. The same Pro capabilities that gate the default submissions list also gate SleekView. Pro roles can have drag-and-drop write-back enabled for triage workflows while read-only roles get a board they can view for visibility but cannot modify submission state from.
The Pro payment integration writes payment status meta on every paid submission. Group by payment status to see Captured, Pending, and Failed payments in distinct columns, with column headers summing the payment amount for instant revenue visibility across the form.
Incomplete partial submissions from save-and-continue flows are filtered out of active triage boards by default since they are not yet ready to action. A dedicated partial submission recovery board with the filter inverted lets marketing chase down abandoned flows for recovery.
Yes. Boards are saved as named views and each one can be scoped to a Pro role. Support saves a board grouped by triage stage, sales saves one grouped by quiz score range, and finance saves a payment status board, all reading the same Pro form behind the scenes.
Yes. The drag fires the same Pro submission status change action that FluentCRM and every Pro integration is already listening to. Tags get added or removed as a submission moves between stages exactly as they do today when admins edit submissions from the default screen.
