LatePoint bookings get buried in the calendar view
LatePoint stores every booking as a row in latepoint_bookings with a status column whose values include pending_approval, approved, completed, cancelled, and no_show. The default LatePoint admin shows the calendar grid plus a bookings list filtered per agent, both of which make it hard to see at a glance how many requests still need you to approve them.
SleekView Kanban reads the same latepoint_bookings table and treats the status column as the natural axis to group by. Each card surfaces the customer name, the service, the assigned agent, the start datetime, and the price. Columns mirror your real LatePoint statuses, so the pending stack and the completed stack each read as a single number rather than as labels scattered across rows.
Drag a card from Pending Approval to Approved and SleekView calls the same LatePoint update path the admin dropdown uses, which fires the approval email, the SMS plugin's notification, and the Google Calendar push you already configured. Drag to Cancelled and the refund and notification flows run through LatePoint so any payment gateway integration handles the money side consistently. Per-agent boards mean each provider only sees and writes to their own rows.

Comparison
LatePoint list view vs SleekView Kanban
Default LatePoint admin
- Calendar grid plus per-agent list hides how many approvals are sitting in the queue
- Status changes require opening each booking and editing the dropdown one by one
- No glance count of how many bookings are pending approval right now
- Cross-agent overview requires switching the filter every visit
- Bulk approvals are not exposed so routine moves take a click each

Features
What SleekView Kanban gives you for LatePoint
Group by any LatePoint status
Use the built-in LatePoint statuses or any custom value your workflow has added. SleekView lists every distinct value present in the column and renders one board column per status with counts that update live as you drag cards across stages.
Drag to change booking status
Move a card from Pending Approval to Approved and SleekView calls the same LatePoint update path the admin dropdown uses. Approval emails, SMS notifications, calendar pushes, and payment hooks fire so nothing in the lifecycle silently breaks.
Configurable card fields
Pick which booking fields land on each card: customer, service, agent, start datetime, total, payment status, or any custom booking-form field. Dates, currency, and agent profile links format themselves automatically.
Audience
Workflows the kanban view unlocks for LatePoint
Daily approval queue
Start each morning on the Pending Approval column, scan the new requests, drag the ones that fit into Approved. The board doubles as the front-desk checklist and the approval email fires automatically.
Per-agent boards
Save one board per agent so each provider sees only their own bookings. The owner keeps an all-agents board for the morning standup and the daily plan.
No-show recovery
Filter to the No-show column to see exactly which customers to follow up with, drag to Cancelled once you have closed the loop, and keep the recovery flow auditable for the manager.
The bigger picture
Approvals and check-outs deserve a board, not a list
LatePoint captures bookings cleanly with statuses that mirror a real service workflow: pending approval, approved, completed, cancelled, no-show. The default admin presents the result as a calendar plus a list, both of which make it hard to see at a glance which bookings still need a human decision today. The board view fixes this by making the only state that matters, the booking status, the primary axis of the screen.
You can see in one glance how many requests still need an approval, how many of yesterday's approved slots actually completed, and how many no-shows need a recovery call. Cards make individual bookings legible at the level of customer, service, agent, time, and money, which is what a front desk needs. Drag is the natural verb for moving a booking from one stage to the next, and because SleekView writes through LatePoint's own functions, every drag still triggers the approval emails, the SMS notifications, the Google Calendar pushes, and the deposit captures you already configured.
Calendar view, list view, and board view become three reading surfaces over the same data, each appropriate to a different question.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView Kanban for LatePoint
Every value the plugin writes to the status column: Pending Approval, Approved, Completed, Cancelled, and No-show. Any custom status you have registered through a snippet or LatePoint add-on appears as its own column the moment a booking lands in it, with no manual mapping required.
Yes. SleekView calls the same update path the admin dropdown uses, so the row in latepoint_bookings changes, approval emails fire, SMS notifications send, Google Calendar pushes refresh, and any payment hooks you have configured trigger exactly as if you had used the standard interface.
SleekView offers an optional confirmation prompt on drags into destructive columns like Cancelled, and any drag can be reverted by dragging back. The refund and notification flows still run through LatePoint, so the money side and the customer email behave the same way they would from the admin.
Yes. SleekView reads booking state on a short interval and reconciles drags against the live record, so if a colleague has already approved a request on their screen, you see the new state before your drag conflicts. Optimistic updates revert cleanly on rejected writes.
The primary grouping is status, but each card surfaces the agent, service, and start time, which gives you the same visibility you would get from the calendar without leaving the board. Saved filters scope a board to a single agent when a provider only needs their own bookings.
Yes. LatePoint add-ons hook into the same status lifecycle the board writes to, so SMS notifications, group-booking seats, and recurring-booking series continue to behave consistently on drags. SleekView never bypasses LatePoint's own functions.
Yes. Save a filtered view per agent or location and SleekView renders one board per saved view. Column counts and writes are scoped to the rows in that view, so each agent has a focused screen while the owner keeps an all-agents board for the standup.

Yes. SleekView only loads cards for the columns currently visible and paginates older bookings into a scroll-on-demand tail. Indexing on the status column keeps group counts cheap even for clinics with several years of bookings in the table.
