SleekView Kanban for WooCommerce Purchase Order Gateway
Purchase Order Gateway lets B2B buyers check out with a PO number and pay later. SleekView Kanban groups those orders by status, surfaces the PO number and buyer company on every card, and lets staff drag a PO from Pending to Approved or Paid in one move.

B2B purchase orders need their own admin lane
Purchase Order Gateway writes the buyer supplied PO number onto each WooCommerce order as _po_number meta and the chosen payment method as woocommerce_gateway_purchase_order. The order rides the regular WooCommerce flow with post_status values like wc-pending, wc-on-hold, wc-processing, wc-completed, plus a custom wc-po-approved in many B2B setups. The default admin list mixes PO orders with card payments, which makes accounts receivable work slower than it should be.
SleekView Kanban reads the same shop_order rows and pulls the PO meta alongside them. Each card on the board shows the order number, the customer company from the billing address, the PO number from _po_number, and the order total. Lanes follow the actual statuses, so the AR team sees how many POs sit pending approval, how many are processing, and how many are waiting for the wire transfer to land.
Drag a card from Pending to Approved and SleekView writes the new post_status through the WooCommerce REST endpoints. The PO meta stays intact, the standard AR email fires, and the buyer keeps the same PO number on every downstream document. Drag to Paid once payment lands and the order closes cleanly with the original PO traceable in any reporting.
Workflow
From PO submission to a live AR board
Connect to WooCommerce orders
_po_number and the billing company on each row.
Filter to PO payments
purchase_order at board scope. The board now only shows POs, so the AR team never sees card or PayPal orders mixed in. Filter saves with the board for next time.
Group by order status
post_status as the lane axis. SleekView lists Pending, On Hold, Processing, Approved, and Paid as the standard lanes, plus any custom status your B2B setup adds, with live counts at each step.

Comparison
WooCommerce list vs SleekView Kanban
Default WooCommerce list
- PO orders mix with card and PayPal orders on the same flat admin list view.
- Status changes happen one order at a time through the small dropdown on each row.
- Buyer company and PO number live in different columns or hide behind the order screen.
- No visual sense of outstanding PO balances waiting on approval or payment terms.
- Filtering by payment method requires extra plugins or hand-written SQL queries.

Features
What SleekView Kanban gives you for WooCommerce Purchase Order Gateway
B2B context on every card
Each card shows the buyer company name from the billing address, the PO number the buyer supplied at checkout, and the agreed payment terms. Staff see who owes what and when without opening the individual order admin screen.
Drag to update PO status
Move a card from Pending to Approved when credit signs off, or from Approved to Paid when the wire lands. SleekView writes the status through WooCommerce REST endpoints so PO meta stays intact and the receipt sends correctly.
Filter by PO age in days
Save a board scoped to POs older than thirty days to chase late payments, or one scoped to net 60 terms to track the slow lane. Filters combine with status lanes so the AR team has one screen per chase pattern.

How B2B shops use the kanban view
Daily AR triage routine
An AR team starts every morning on the PO board. Pending Approval gets credit reviewed first, Approved gets nudged through to Paid, and Disputed lives in its own lane with notes attached.
Net terms tracking
Filter the board by terms net 30 versus net 60 so the AR team chases the right buyers at the right time. Each lane shows how many POs are coming due this week and which sit past their term.
Customer success handoffs
When a buyer questions an invoice, customer success drags the card from Paid back to Disputed and ping the AR rep. Status changes are logged so both teams see exactly who reviewed what at any point.
The bigger picture
Why PO orders need their own kanban view
Purchase order orders are not normal WooCommerce checkouts. They carry a buyer reference number, a credit decision, payment terms that can stretch sixty days or more, and a real risk of dispute or non payment. The standard WooCommerce order list treats them the same as any card payment, which means the AR team has to dig through filters and individual order screens to do basic work.
A board view changes the math. Lanes match the actual stages of a B2B sale, Pending Approval, Approved, Paid, and Disputed, with live counts that show where the money is sitting today. Cards put the PO number and the buyer company on the front, so a rep sees at a glance who owes what and how old the order is.
Drag-and-drop status updates mean credit decisions, approvals, and payment confirmations all happen in one screen instead of three. Over a quarter that adds up to faster collections, fewer mistakes, and a clear picture of the receivables pipeline that the standard WooCommerce admin simply cannot give you.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView Kanban for WooCommerce Purchase Order Gateway
The board reads live WooCommerce orders through the same database layer your admin already uses. There is no copy of the data, nothing to keep in sync, and every change you make on the board reflects in the standard WooCommerce screens within seconds.

Yes. Card layout supports any meta and any billing field, so you can show the _po_number value and the billing company side by side. The AR team sees who owes what without opening the order admin screen at all.
Yes. SleekView writes the new status through the standard WooCommerce update path, which fires the same hooks the manual dropdown fires. The PO number carries through to the receipt, order notes update, and any AR integration runs as normal.

Yes. The filter bar accepts a payment method filter, so you can scope the board to only orders paid through purchase_order. Save that scope as a board and reopen it later, and the filter stays attached for the next session too.
Custom statuses still appear as lanes. SleekView detects the distinct values in post_status at board creation and offers each as a lane. You can rename, hide, recolor, and reorder them to match how your AR team actually runs the business.
Yes. SleekView checks the same capability that the standard order edit screen checks before letting a user move a card or open an order. AR managers act on the board, customer support views it, customers never see it at all.
Yes. The card editor lets you compute fields like days since order date and surface them on the card front. Staff can sort within a lane by age, so the oldest PO in the Pending lane always sits at the top of the board view.
SleekView Kanban works against any WooCommerce order source. You can build one board for PO orders and a separate board for retail orders, or one mixed board with a payment method filter, so the view fits how your store splits the work.
