What happens if no source covers the question?
The system instruction tells the model to say it has no matching source and stop. You can also add a fallback contact line, like a support email or a help-desk URL. The bot will not invent a citation to satisfy the visitor.
Can the bot cite multiple sources in one reply?
Yes. When two or more posts are relevant, the bot quotes the strongest one, then lists secondary sources at the end of the reply.
