SleekPixel for ACF Pro field groups
ACF Pro lets editors register field groups attached to post types, taxonomies, users or options. Values write to wp_postmeta with the configured field name as the meta key. SleekPixel reads those groups and renders per-group share cards on save.

ACF Pro field groups already carry editorial structure
ACF Pro is the long-standing custom-fields plugin for WordPress sites that need editorial structure beyond default post fields. Field groups attach to post types, taxonomies, users or options pages, and each field writes to wp_postmeta with the configured field name as the meta key. Theme code reads field values through get_field(), which under the hood is a wrapper around the postmeta read with type-aware formatting.
SleekPixel reads the ACF Pro field group registry through the ACF API and exposes each field group as a separate template scope. A field group attached to 'post' with subtitle, deck, cover image and reading time fields can each feed template slots by their field name. The share card pulls field values through ACF's get_field() so it stays in sync with anything theme code already uses.
The 1200 by 630 PNG lands in uploads on every post save. The SEO plugin's og:image filter publishes the URL into the post head, and scrapers see a card that reflects the actual ACF Pro field values on every post update. Advanced field types (Repeater, Flexible Content, Gallery, Relationship) all work as template inputs.
Workflow
ACF Pro to share card in four steps
Install on an ACF Pro site
Map ACF fields to slots
Save a published WordPress post
save_post. SleekPixel renders the share card to uploads with the post's actual ACF Pro field values across every mapped field group on every WordPress save.
Share the post URL
og:image filter. Each post shares with the card its ACF field group produced.
Output
Sample ACF Pro article share
Rendered from an ACF Pro field group attached to articles, with subtitle, deck, cover image and reading time fields feeding the share card slots.
Comparison
Default WordPress share vs SleekPixel for ACF Pro
Featured image only on shares

- Custom subtitle, deck and reading-time fields invisible to scrapers
- Same featured image fallback on every ACF-powered post URL
- Flexible Content and Repeater data ignored by default OG plugins
- Editing an ACF Pro field does not refresh the share card scrapers see

Features
What SleekPixel gives you for ACF Pro
ACF API integration
The plugin reads ACF Pro field groups through the official ACF API, so updates to ACF (and migrations to SCF) keep the integration working without code changes from your side.
All ACF field types
Text, number, image, gallery, repeater, flexible content, relationship and taxonomy fields all map to template slots through SleekPixel's type-aware slot model. No field type is off-limits.
Refreshes on every save
The render hook fires on save_post for any post that matches an ACF-mapped template scope, so editing any ACF field through the post editor refreshes the share card automatically.
Use cases
Where ACF Pro field group sites benefit most
Editorial ACF sites
Editorial sites that store subtitles, decks and reading times in ACF Pro get share cards naming those fields, not just the post title and featured image.
Multi-template ACF sites
Sites with several ACF Pro field groups across post types get per-group share cards so each editorial template surfaces its own metadata in the share preview.
Agency WordPress builds
Agencies that build client sites on ACF Pro get share cards as a default deliverable, with mappings to whatever ACF fields the client editorial pipeline already uses.
The bigger picture
Why ACF Pro sites need field-aware share cards
ACF Pro is the dominant custom-fields plugin for WordPress editorial workflows. Field groups encode the structure a team relies on: subtitle, deck, contributor, sponsor flag, reading time, geo tag, translation status. The structure is the point.
Editors can rely on the subtitle being filled, the reading time being computed and the contributor being attributed. The investment in that structure pays off on the page and goes to waste at the share preview, where scrapers see the featured image only. SleekPixel pushes the ACF data into the share.
The card reads the same fields theme code reads through get_field(), applies the brand palette, and lands in uploads on every save. Readers who share the post get a preview that names the same subtitle and deck they will read once they click. The cost is one license.
The benefit is field-aware share previews on every ACF Pro-mapped post URL.
Questions
Common questions about SleekPixel for ACF Pro
Both. SleekPixel reads field groups through the ACF API, which is the same on free and Pro for the field types both versions support. Pro-only field types (Repeater, Flexible Content, Gallery, Clone) work when ACF Pro is installed.
Yes. Repeater field rows store as serialized arrays. SleekPixel can read a row by index or aggregate the rows (count, sum, join) into a single template slot, useful for fields like author lists or stat blocks.
Yes. Flexible Content stores a list of layouts, each with their own subfields. SleekPixel can read the first layout, the last layout, or any layout by name, and pull subfields into template slots.

No. SleekPixel writes the PNG and exposes the URL through a filter. Yoast accepts the URL as the og:image input, so Yoast still emits the meta tag for the scraper on every post.
Yes. Each ACF field group is a separate SleekPixel template scope. A group attached to articles can use one design and a group attached to case studies can use another design, on the same site.
Option Pages provide site-wide ACF data that can feed default values into the share card template (default accent color, default brand). Per-post fields override the option page values when present.

No. The render runs on save_post in the background. The post save responds at the same speed it did before SleekPixel, and the share card lands in uploads within a second.
Yes. SCF is API-compatible with ACF, so the field reads SleekPixel performs work identically against either plugin. The same template design covers ACF Pro sites and SCF sites without changes.
