SleekView Charts for Advanced Classifieds & Directory Pro: chart ads

Listings pile up. Reporting does not.

ACADP gives you a clean acadp_listings custom post type with statuses like publish, pending and expired, plus the acadp_categories and acadp_locations taxonomies and postmeta keys like _price, _views, _featured and _expiry_date. The default admin shows them as a list with a count per category. That is it.

SleekView reads the same rows your ACADP screens see: wp_posts entries where post_type = 'acadp_listings', joined to wp_postmeta for views, price and featured flag, and to wp_term_relationships for category and location. Group by acadp_categories for the category mix, by acadp_locations for regional spread, by _featured for paid vs free mix, by post_date for daily volume.

One classifieds site we built this for ran 4,800 active acadp_listings across 62 categories and 34 cities. With SleekView Charts they saw, in one screen, that 11 categories held 71 percent of inventory and 3 cities drove 58 percent of the views logged in _views postmeta. They re-priced featured placement that week.

Workflow

From acadp_listings posts to charts

1

Point at the acadp_listings CPT

Pick the acadp_listings custom post type registered by ACADP as the data source. SleekView discovers post_status, the acadp_categories and acadp_locations taxonomies, and every _price, _views and _featured postmeta key.
2

Pick the grouping column

Group by acadp_categories for the category mix, by acadp_locations for regional spread, by _featured to see free vs paid placement share, by post_status for active vs expired, or by post_date for arrival volume.
3

Choose an aggregation

Count for listing volume, Sum on _views to find the most-viewed items, Average on _price for typical asking prices per category, Maximum on _expiry_date for the longest-running ads. Filters slice by location or featured.
4

Embed where the team works

Save the chart to a dashboard page, embed it on the admin home, or drop a Number KPI showing today's new listings, featured count, or expiring this week. The site owner sees real ACADP health on login, no SQL anywhere.

Sample dashboard

What an ACADP dashboard looks like

A four-card layout reading straight from the acadp_listings CPT, its taxonomies and its postmeta. Active listings KPI, category mix, top locations by listing count, and a daily arrival trend.
Number · Default

Active listings right now

A single KPI counting wp_posts rows where post_type = 'acadp_listings' and post_status = 'publish', with last month's active count shown beneath. Expired listings filtered out by checking _expiry_date postmeta against today.
Count
Pie · Donut

Listings by category

A donut split across the acadp_categories taxonomy, joining wp_term_relationships to wp_terms to resolve names. Surfaces which categories carry the inventory and which are starving so featured placement can be priced accordingly.
Count group by acadp_categories
Bar · Horizontal

Top locations by listing count

Horizontal bar of the top cities or regions by active listing count, grouping acadp_listings rows through the acadp_locations taxonomy. Instantly shows which markets are thriving and which need promotion.
Count group by acadp_locations
Area · Gradient

New listings per day

A gradient area chart counting acadp_listings posts per day from post_date, useful for spotting which marketing pushes, social shares or fee-plan changes moved the needle on user submissions.
Count group by post_date

Comparison

Default ACADP admin vs SleekView Charts for ACADP

Default ACADP listings screen

  • No site-wide category share visualization, just a flat count per term page
  • No regional view of which acadp_locations are over- or under-supplied
  • Featured vs free placement mix from _featured postmeta is never charted
  • No daily or weekly submission trend without exporting wp_posts to CSV
  • Expiry pipeline from _expiry_date is invisible until listings already lapse

SleekView Charts

  • Reads acadp_listings posts and postmeta in place, no parallel store
  • Category and location mix from acadp_categories and acadp_locations
  • Featured share KPI from the _featured postmeta flag
  • Expiring-this-week count filtering _expiry_date against today
  • Top viewed listings by summing the _views postmeta counter

Features

What SleekView Charts gives you for Advanced Classifieds & Directory Pro

Directory inventory visibility

See every category and location's listing count on one screen instead of clicking term pages. Aggregates acadp_categories and acadp_locations across acadp_listings so the site owner sees the whole directory at once.

Filter by category or location

Layer filters on any chart: by acadp_categories term, by acadp_locations term, by _featured postmeta, by post_status, or by post_date range so paid placement performance is comparable instead of guessed at.

ACADP KPIs in the admin

Drop a Number card on your WP dashboard that shows today's new listings, listings expiring in 7 days, and featured count, all sourced from acadp_listings rows that already exist in your database.

Audience

Where ACADP dashboards earn their keep

Classifieds operators

Track inventory across 50+ categories and dozens of cities in one view. Group by acadp_categories and acadp_locations, filter by _featured, and price promoted placement based on real demand.

Paid-placement directories

Show how many sellers are paying for the _featured flag versus running free listings. Track the featured share over time so the upsell strategy gets numbers behind it, not guesses.

Local business directories

Compare listing volume across acadp_locations terms to find under-served cities. The data is already in the taxonomy tables, SleekView turns it into expansion intel.

The bigger picture

Why this matters for directory owners

Classifieds and directory sites live or die by inventory and traffic. The longer a listing sits without a view, the less likely the next seller pays for featured placement. ACADP stores every signal you need in the acadp_listings post type and its postmeta, but the default admin only shows them one row at a time.

SleekView Charts reads those same rows and aggregates them across every category, every location, every featured flag, so the site owner can answer real questions in seconds. Which categories carry the inventory? Which cities are over-served and which need promotion? How much of the catalogue is featured paid placement? How many listings expire this week and need renewal nudges? None of that requires new fields, custom code, or a separate analytics product. It just requires actually looking at the data ACADP already collects, in a way that scales past a single category page.

Questions

Common questions about SleekView Charts for Advanced Classifieds & Directory Pro

No. SleekView reads the acadp_listings custom post type and its postmeta in place. Nothing is copied or synced, every chart query runs against the live wp_posts and wp_postmeta tables, so the numbers always match what the ACADP admin screens show on their own.

Yes. Any custom field ACADP writes to postmeta, including the unlimited custom fields tied to categories, is selectable as a group-by or filter. SleekView lists every meta key present on the acadp_listings CPT in the chart builder.

Yes. Both taxonomies are first-class group-by targets. SleekView joins wp_term_relationships and wp_terms behind the scenes, so charts render with the term name and slug instead of internal IDs. Nested categories and locations are flattened to their lowest level by default.

Yes. Filter acadp_listings by _expiry_date postmeta within a date range and aggregate with Count. A Number KPI showing listings expiring in the next seven days is one of the most useful cards site owners install on their admin dashboard.

SleekView uses indexed wp_postmeta joins and caches aggregated results per chart. A directory we tested with 28,000 acadp_listings across 4 years rendered the full four-card dashboard in under 700ms once the cache warmed up.

Yes. Filter by the _featured postmeta flag set to 1 and the charts will only show paid featured listings. Useful for proving featured-placement ROI to sellers or for splitting the dashboard into free vs paid views side by side.

No. Charts are rendered inside wp-admin behind the manage_options or your configured capability by default, and aggregations like Count, Sum and Average never expose individual rows. Contact emails and phone numbers stay where ACADP put them.

Both work. Fee plan IDs are written to acadp_listings postmeta and WooCommerce orders are queryable from wp_posts where post_type = 'shop_order'. SleekView can chart paid listings, plan distribution, and revenue per plan from those rows directly.
