SleekView Charts for Astra theme
Astra stays minimal, but the CPTs and meta around it carry the real numbers. SleekView Charts turns posts, postmeta, and ACF into a configurable dashboard without leaving WordPress.

Astra's data is in posts and postmeta, charts make it readable
Astra itself ships no custom post types, but Astra sites collect them quickly: a portfolio CPT from a starter template, a team CPT from a child theme, testimonials from ACF, services from Meta Box. SleekView reads wp_posts joined to wp_postmeta and exposes each post type as a chartable dataset.
Charts then run aggregations against those rows: count of portfolio entries per project type, average revisions per service page, total active testimonials per author. The same dataset feeds the Table, Kanban, and Charts views, so the editorial workspace and the reporting surface share one source.
Because every read goes through the standard WordPress APIs, ACF group fields and Meta Box repeaters appear as joinable columns. A chart can group by client_type, sum project_budget, or average reading_time without writing SQL or installing a separate reporting plugin.

Comparison
Default Astra reporting vs SleekView Charts
Default Astra admin (Pages and CPT screens)
- Astra ships no built-in reporting, the Pages list shows title, author, and date only.
- Child-theme CPTs render as separate flat screens with no aggregation or grouping.
- ACF and Meta Box values sit inside the post editor, invisible in any list view.
- Editorial cadence, revision counts, and field distributions need a separate reporting plugin.
- Filtering across CPTs requires URL parameters or third-party admin filters.
SleekView Charts
- Reads wp_posts and wp_postmeta directly, so any Astra CPT becomes chartable.
- Picks up ACF and Meta Box fields as groupBy columns without configuration.
- Number, Pie, Bar, Area, Line, Radar, and Radial chart types per card.
- Aggregations cover count, sum, average, minimum, and maximum.
- Same dataset powers the Table and Kanban views in one workspace.

The bigger picture
Reporting on a minimal theme without a reporting plugin
Astra's deliberate minimalism is a strength for performance and customization. It also means the admin gives no native view of how much content lives where, what got edited last week, or which ACF values are over-represented. SleekView Charts fills that gap by reading the same posts and postmeta tables the front end already uses.
The chart cards are configurable per dashboard, so the agency's reporting view and the editor's content audit can sit side by side without owning conflicting queries. Saved views travel with the site and can be exported as CSV when a client wants a flat report. The plugin keeps owning the theme; SleekView just charts what it stores.
