KanbanWP keeps tasks, statuses, boards, and estimates in its own custom tables instead of postmeta. That makes the board fast, and it also means the WordPress Posts screen never sees the data. Out of the box there is no way to ask how many tasks are in progress this week, who is carrying the most work, or whether the team's average estimate accuracy is improving.

SleekView Charts reads the kanban_task, kanban_status, kanban_board, and kanban_estimate tables directly through the schema-discovery agent UI. A Number card counts active tasks. A Pie splits work by status. A Bar shows tasks per assignee. An Area trends task completion per week so a sprint retrospective starts with a real velocity line.

The board, the table view, and the charts view all share one source, so a task moved from In Progress to Done on the board reflects in the throughput chart on next load. No separate reporting plugin, no syncing data to a third tool.

A kanban board is a great real-time view of where work is sitting right now. It is a poor view of how work moves over time. A team lead looking at the board can see which column is full today but cannot tell whether throughput is steady, accelerating, or sliding without going column by column and counting.

KanbanWP holds the data needed to answer those questions in its custom tables, but its admin never aggregates it. SleekView Charts reads those tables through the schema-discovery agent UI, sidestepping the usual problem with custom-table plugins (you do not need to know the table names ahead of time) and produces throughput, WIP, and estimate dashboards that match how delivery teams actually think about flow.
