SleekView Charts for LearnDash BuddyBoss
SleekView Charts joins learndash_user_activity with BuddyBoss tables (bp_activity, bp_groups, bp_groups_members) directly. Active learners, social group mix, course completion and forum activity render as Number, Pie, Bar and Area cards in WP Admin.

Community learning splits the data across two systems
LearnDash BuddyBoss integrates course learning with BuddyBoss social groups and forums. Learners enrol in courses through LearnDash and interact with cohorts through BuddyBoss groups, with activity logged to bp_activity, group membership to bp_groups_members and forum posts to bbp_topics. The integration ties LearnDash course access to BuddyBoss group membership so a course cohort is also a social cohort.
Reporting is split. LearnDash knows who completed the course. BuddyBoss knows who posted in the group forum and joined the activity feed. The combined picture (a cohort that completes the course and engages socially, vs a cohort that completes silently or engages without completing) lives across the two table sets but is never rendered on the same screen.
SleekView Charts reads both schemas. A Number card anchors active learners across the cohort. A Pie splits the cohort by completion status. A Bar ranks BuddyBoss groups by activity volume. An Area trends bp_activity entries per day. Same data both plugins already maintain, organised so a community learning manager sees the whole picture at once.

Comparison
Default BuddyBoss reporting vs SleekView Charts
Default LearnDash + BuddyBoss reports
- LearnDash and BuddyBoss reports live in separate admin areas with no shared filter
- Per-group engagement volume is not a default visual on either side
- Quiet-completer cohorts (completed but not engaged) require manual cross-referencing
- Forum activity per group is buried in BuddyBoss admin lists rather than charted
- No read-only dashboard URL to share with a community learning sponsor
SleekView Charts
- KPI card for active learners scoped to a BuddyBoss group
- Pie split of cohort by LearnDash course status
- Bar ranking BuddyBoss groups by bp_activity volume
- Area trend of community activity alongside course progress
- Filters carry between table view and chart view on the joined dataset
Features
What SleekView Charts gives you for LearnDash BuddyBoss
Course + community on one dashboard
Join learndash_user_activity with bp_activity and bp_groups_members. Completion and engagement sit side by side rather than in two admin tabs that never talk.
Filters span both plugins
Filter the dashboard to a BuddyBoss group and the LearnDash activity table, the bp_activity table and the chart cards all stay in sync. Same joined query, three surfaces.
Share with community managers
Send a community manager a read-only URL of their cohort dashboard. Weekly community reviews work off the live data instead of two separate screenshot sets.
Audience
Who builds LearnDash BuddyBoss charts dashboards with SleekView
Community learning managers
Anchor a weekly review on active learners, cohort course status and per-group activity volume. Spot the cohort that is completing silently and invite the quiet completers to share what worked.
Course leads with community
Watch course completion and forum engagement on one dashboard. A drop in forum activity ahead of a drop in completion is the leading indicator that something in the content needs attention.
Programme operators
Chart engagement vs completion across every cohort on the platform. Cohorts in the top-right quadrant scale; cohorts in the bottom-left need a different facilitator approach.
The bigger picture
Why community learning needs a joined dashboard
LearnDash BuddyBoss exists because course completion alone is not a complete picture of learning, and social engagement alone is not a complete picture of progression. The two together describe a cohort. The default admin treats them separately, with LearnDash reports in one tab and BuddyBoss reports in another and no shared filter.
A community learning manager running ten cohorts in parallel needs a per-cohort view that combines both, because the cohorts in trouble are usually visible in the social signal a week before they are visible in the completion signal. SleekView Charts puts learndash_user_activity and bp_activity on the same dashboard, scoped by group, so the early warning shows up where the operational team is already looking. Same data both plugins already maintain, dramatically more useful as a single view.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView Charts for LearnDash BuddyBoss
LearnDash's learndash_user_activity and learndash_user_activity_meta tables alongside BuddyBoss's bp_activity, bp_groups, bp_groups_members and bbp_topics (for forum activity). No data is copied, the cards render straight off the tables both plugins already maintain.
Yes. BuddyBoss App is a presentation layer over the same bp_* tables, so engagement from the app shows up in bp_activity alongside engagement from the web. The dashboard surfaces both without distinguishing client, which is usually what community managers want.
Yes. Filter the joined dataset to users with activity_status of completed on learndash_user_activity and zero rows in bp_activity for the same date range. Render as a Number card and the quiet-completer cohort becomes visible week over week.
BuddyBoss uses bbPress under the hood. Forum topics live in bbp_topics and replies in bbp_replies. SleekView counts both per BuddyBoss group, joined through the forum-to-group relationship the integration maintains.
Yes. BuddyBoss groups have organisers; LearnDash groups have leaders. Filter the dashboard by the facilitator's user_id and the cohort dashboard shows only the cohorts that facilitator runs. Useful for shared programme dashboards across multiple facilitators.
Yes, where the schema is documented. bp_media tables expose uploads, and SleekView surfaces counts and per-group splits. Useful for cohorts where artefact-sharing is part of the curriculum (portfolios, capstone projects, peer review).
No. bp_activity is indexed on user_id, component and date_recorded, and learndash_user_activity is indexed on user_id and activity_type. SleekView's group-by queries use those indexes, so platforms with millions of joined rows render the dashboard in well under a second on typical Kinsta or WP Engine hardware.
The dashboard lives in WP Admin and renders read-only URLs that can be shared with stakeholders. Embedding inside a BuddyBoss frontend group page is not in scope; the operational use case is community managers and facilitators reviewing cohorts from the admin side.
