Commission cycles, finally a chart
WC Vendors keeps commissions in pv_commission with order references that resolve to wc_orders (HPOS) or wp_posts with post_type shop_order (legacy). The default WC Vendors admin lists commissions chronologically, which works for browsing but misses the cycle-level dashboard a marketplace finance team actually needs: total commission this cycle, top vendors by commission, paid versus pending versus reversed share, reversal trend over time.
SleekView Charts reads pv_commission directly with the order and vendor joins. Total commission becomes a Number card. Top vendors becomes a horizontal bar grouped by vendor_id. Status mix becomes a donut on commission_status. Reversal trend becomes an area chart on date with status as the series. The four cards together answer the cycle-level questions in one dashboard load, replacing the spreadsheet workflow that most WC Vendors marketplaces fall into.
The Charts view shares filters with the Table view on the same commission dataset. Scope once to a date range and a status set, the dashboard reflects it. Finance gets cycle-level settlement, vendor managers get per-vendor history, growth gets top-earner trends and at-risk vendor flags. Same WC Vendors hooks fire, same data, the chart layer that makes the cycles efficient.

Comparison
Default WC Vendors reporting vs SleekView Charts
Default WC Vendors admin
- Commission list is chronological and gives no cycle-level summary
- Top-vendor leaderboard per cycle requires sorting and exporting
- Status mix (paid versus pending versus reversed) isn't surfaced as a chart
- Reversal trend over time needs custom SQL or a spreadsheet
- Reports don't share filters with the commission list, so chart and rows can drift
SleekView Charts
- Compose Number, Bar, Pie, and Area cards on pv_commission
- Top-vendor leaderboard joins wp_users for display names in one card
- Status donut surfaces cycle-level health before the payout step
- Stacked area on commission time with status as series shows reversal trend
- Save one dashboard per cycle for repeat use without rebuilding
Features
What SleekView Charts gives you for WC Vendors
Cycle dashboard
Total commission Number card, top-vendor leaderboard, status donut, and weekly stacked area. The cycle review becomes one dashboard load instead of a sort-and-export workflow.
Per-vendor history
Filter the dashboard to one vendor_id and the cards re-scope. Useful for support questions like 'why was this commission lower' where the order join shows refunds and reversals tied to the commission.
Reversal triage
Stacked area with status as series surfaces reversal-share creeping up. Combine with a horizontal bar of reversals per vendor and the quality story becomes a chart, not a manual cross-reference.
Audience
Who builds WC Vendors charts dashboards with SleekView
Marketplace finance
Cycle total, top-vendor leaderboard, status donut. The cycle reconciliation opens as a dashboard and exports as one CSV instead of a multi-step spreadsheet pass.
Vendor managers
Per-vendor commission history scoped to a single vendor, with order joins for context. Support questions about commission amounts resolve in seconds, not minutes.
Growth
Top-earner trend, at-risk vendor flags (commission drop over rolling window), cohort comparisons. Useful for outreach prioritisation and proactive churn prevention.
The bigger picture
Why marketplace commission needs cycle-level dashboards
Marketplace finance lives in cycles, monthly or biweekly or quarterly, pick a cadence and that's when commissions get reviewed, payouts get approved, and disputes get reconciled. The default WC Vendors admin treats commissions as a flat chronological list, which works for spot-checks but breaks the cycle-level workflow. A finance lead running a monthly cycle wants every approved commission since the last cycle, grouped by vendor, with status mix and reversal context visible.
The default admin gives a chronological list and asks them to do the grouping in their head or a spreadsheet. Multiply across 40 vendors and the manual reconciliation eats half a day. SleekView Charts turns the cycle into a saved dashboard.
Open the view, see the cycle's totals, mark commissions paid in bulk from the Table view, export the CSV record. Half-day cycles become 30-minute reviews.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView Charts for WC Vendors
No. WC Vendors admin stays for individual commission edits and one-off browsing. SleekView Charts is the dashboard layer for cycle-level and per-vendor views like total commission plus top-vendor leaderboard plus status donut on one screen with one filter.

Yes. Free has the core pv_commission table; Pro adds more fields (shipping commission, granular status types, more metadata). SleekView Charts surfaces whichever columns your install has and the cards adapt to the schema. Build a dashboard once and it works on both.
Yes. HPOS moves orders from wp_posts to wc_orders, but commission records still live in pv_commission with order ID references. SleekView's joins use whichever order storage WooCommerce is configured for. No migration step needed when you flip HPOS on.
Yes. A stacked area on commission time with commission_status as the series shows reversal share over cycles. Climbing reversal rate often signals quality issues with a specific vendor or product category, which a chart catches faster than scrolling a list.
Yes, on Pro/Marketplace setups. Shipping commission lives alongside item commission in the same table. Surface both as separate columns for separate cards, or sum them for a total-commission view. Useful for marketplaces where shipping split matters to the vendor relationship.
Yes. Filter the dataset by the cycle's date range and save the view. Each cycle gets its own saved dashboard, so opening 'April 2026 cycle' loads the exact scope. Useful for year-end reviews where you want to compare cycle-over-cycle without rebuilding queries.
Charts re-aggregate from the live commission rows. Inline edits from the Table view (mark paid, mark approved) update the rows, and the next chart load reflects the new state. No manual refresh of the dashboard query is needed; SleekView re-runs aggregations on view open.

All chart work happens inside wp-admin with server-side aggregation against the indexed pv_commission columns. Storefront pages, vendor dashboards, and checkout are untouched. Dashboards typically render in under a second even on marketplaces with high commission volume.
