SleekView Feedback board for Event Tickets Plus

Read attendee answers as a vote-sorted board

Event Tickets Plus stores attendees as posts in tribe_tpp_attendees tied to a WooCommerce order, with per-ticket questions saved as attendee meta and check-in writing to _tribe_qr_ticket_checkedin. Comments on the event page carry the public post-event takes, and the per-ticket questions often include a feedback prompt the team set up to gather topic requests at the door. The default reading surface is the Attendees screen, the comments thread, and a per-ticket question CSV.

SleekView Feedback brings those three sources onto one board. It reads wp_comments on the event post, the attendee meta from tribe_tpp_attendees for any question tagged as feedback, and the linked WooCommerce order status. Each row becomes a card with a title, the running vote count from a counter meta, the author, a category pill for the topic, and a status pill bound to the organiser response field. The card front carries the event name, the ticket type, and the check-in flag so a checked-in attendee's note reads differently from a no-show one.

Upvote writes back to the counter meta on the row. Submit lands a new topic request as a comment on the closest upcoming event with the category preset. The board export writes the top cards to CSV with category, status, ticket type, and event so the planning round reads the same numbers the audience voted on.

Workflow

From attendees to a public board

1

Connect SleekView to Event Tickets Plus

Add a data source for tribe_tpp_attendees joined to wp_comments on the event post and to the linked WooCommerce order. SleekView auto-detects the per-ticket question meta keys so the feedback fields appear in the source list.
2

Pick the vote column and the status field

Switch the view to Feedback. Choose the running vote counter on the comment or attendee meta row as the sort column and the organiser response field as the status badge on each card.
3

Set what each card shows

Put title, event name, ticket type, check-in flag, author, and the running count on the card. Add the WooCommerce order ID so the finance team can open the order straight from the card front.
4

Open Submit and export

Enable Submit for logged-in attendees so new topic requests land as comments. Export writes the top cards to CSV with category, status, ticket type, and event for the next planning round.

Comparison

Default Tickets Plus screens vs SleekView Feedback

Default Tickets Plus screens

  • Attendees screen, comments thread, and per-ticket question report each live separately
  • Comments thread sorted by date, the loudest topic gets buried under the latest reply
  • Per-ticket question CSV reads outside WordPress so the programme team duplicates data
  • No upvote on attendee meta answers so a repeated topic counts once per attendee per ticket
  • Check-in flag is hidden in admin, feedback never separates between attendees and no-shows

SleekView Feedback

  • Joins wp_comments and tribe_tpp_attendees meta on one board
  • Card carries the ticket type and the _tribe_qr_ticket_checkedin flag
  • Sort by running vote count from comment or attendee meta, not the date column
  • Status pill reads the organiser response field so Planned and Declined are public
  • Submit writes new topic requests to wp_comments on the next upcoming event

Features

What SleekView Feedback gives you for Event Tickets Plus

Attendee cards with ticket meta

Each card carries the ticket type, the per-ticket question answers, and the check-in flag from tribe_tpp_attendees so the team can filter the board to checked-in attendees only for the highest-quality signal.

Vote-sorted board

Running count lives in comment or attendee meta and the board re-sorts after each Upvote. The audience and the programme team read the same top item at the same time on the same conference page.

Submit lands as a comment

Logged-in attendees submit a new topic from the board with one tap. SleekView writes the row to wp_comments on the closest upcoming event with the category preset so it is ready for votes alongside the others.

Audience

Who reads Event Tickets Plus feedback on a board

Ticketed conference teams

Open the board during closing remarks and let attendees rank topics for next year live. The call for speakers starts with the highest cards already chosen by the audience.

VIP and sponsor teams

Filter to VIP ticket type and checked-in only to see what premium attendees asked for, with the comment text and order ID supporting sponsor follow-up calls.

Finance and refund teams

Filter to Refunded order status to read the feedback attached to refund requests, so the team can answer the next refund call with context already on the card.

The bigger picture

Per-ticket questions deserve a public board

Event Tickets Plus is the rare ticket plugin that captures custom answers per attendee, not per order, which means each ticket can carry its own slice of feedback. The default workflow is to read those answers in the per-ticket question report and the public comments thread separately, then merge them in a planning meeting weeks later. SleekView Feedback turns the answers and the comments into one board with upvotes, categories, and statuses, and the card front carries the ticket type and the check-in flag so a checked-in VIP weighs more than a no-show general admission.

A topic that climbs across many attendees gets a Planned pill on the public board, a bug that hit the QR scanner gets an Open pill until the team fixes it, and a request that did not make the cut gets a Declined pill with a short reason. The audience stops repeating the same ask in three forms and the team stops merging reports because everyone reads the same surface.

Questions

Common questions about SleekView Feedback for Event Tickets Plus

Yes. SleekView joins wp_comments on the event post and the per-ticket question meta from tribe_tpp_attendees on the same board. Each card carries the source type so the team can filter to one if needed while keeping consistent vote totals across the board.

The card front carries the check-in flag and the team can filter the board to checked-in attendees only. Feedback from people who actually attended sits on its own filtered view so it weighs more than feedback from no-shows when planning the next event.

Yes. Submit opens a short form with title, body, and category preset. SleekView writes the row to wp_comments on the closest upcoming event so the new topic is ready for votes alongside the others without leaving the page.

Yes. Votes write to comment or attendee meta and the board re-fetches the row after each increment. During the closing remarks attendees tap Upvote on phones and watch the top topic climb the board in real time on the event page.

Yes. The status pill is bound to an organiser response field. From admin the team picks Planned, Scheduled, Shipped, or Declined per card and the front-end pill updates so attendees see which requests already have a slot in next year's programme.

Yes. Only approved comments and approved attendee meta rows appear on the board. The WordPress moderation queue stays in place so a pending comment never picks up votes and never appears on the front end until an organiser approves it.

Yes. The board can roll up an entire season and filter by venue, ticket type, check-in flag, or WooCommerce order status. For a multi-day conference the team can pin one board per day or one board per tier so each slice has its own audience-led signal.

Yes. The export writes the top cards to CSV with title, vote total, category, status, ticket type, check-in flag, and event name. The programme team feeds the file straight into the call for speakers so submissions answer the topics the audience actually asked for.
