SleekView Feedback for Fluent Forms Conversational

Fluent Forms Conversational collects answers in a friendly chat-style flow. SleekView Feedback reads the same Fluent Forms entry table and renders responses as upvotable cards with status pills and category tags, so visitors see and rank the ideas your audience submitted.

SleekView Feedback board for WP Fluent Forms Conversational

Show conversational submissions to the people who care

Fluent Forms Conversational makes the form-filling step feel like a conversation, which usually means longer, richer responses. The problem is those responses live in the same private admin table as any other Fluent Forms submission, and your audience never sees them. SleekView Feedback fixes that with a few mappings and zero extra storage overhead in the database layer.

Point SleekView at the conversational form ID, choose which conversational step holds the title, which step holds the votes counter, and which dropdown step holds the status. The plugin reads from the live fluentform_submissions table and renders each entry as a card. The Upvote button writes back to the same row through the Fluent Forms API directly.

Conversational forms often capture category and priority answers up front. Map those to the SleekView category and status fields and the board automatically renders styled pills, complete with filter chips at the top. Nothing about your form design, notifications, or Slack integrations changes when you enable the board for any conversational form you already collect data through today.

Workflow

Conversational steps to a public board

1

Select the conversational form

Pick any conversational Fluent Form from the SleekView source picker. The builder reads the conversational steps and the input names, then offers each step as a mappable field for the board configuration that follows.
2

Map step answers to board fields

Drag the headline step to title, the category dropdown step to category, the priority dropdown to status, and any number step to votes. SleekView stores the step IDs so future submissions land on the board automatically.
3

Color the dropdown options

Each conversational dropdown option becomes a colored pill. Choose blue, violet, emerald, amber, rose, or cyan per option. SleekView writes a JSON map next to the form ID so the same colors render across the board.
4

Embed and watch votes flow

Paste the SleekView shortcode into a page or block. The board renders the live conversational submissions, sorts by votes by default, and lets visitors upvote on the fly.

Comparison

Hidden answers vs visible voted ideas

Conversational admin only

  • Conversational entries pile up in the Fluent Forms entries screen, hidden from view
  • No native upvote or popularity sort on top of the Fluent Forms entry list anywhere
  • Status changes happen privately, with no visible signal to the people who submitted
  • Building a public roadmap from answers means custom REST work and a separate UI
  • Category and priority dropdowns never render as colored pills on a public board

SleekView Feedback

  • Reads directly from fluentform_submissions, no parallel database or sync layer
  • Upvote button writes back through the Fluent Forms REST API to the same submission row
  • Conversational dropdown options auto-render as colored category and status pills
  • Filters, sort order, and pinned items configured visually in the SleekView builder
  • Plays nicely with Fluent Forms Pro, Fluent CRM, and Zapier integrations already running

Features

What SleekView Feedback gives you for WP Fluent Forms Conversational

Upvote with rate limits

Every Upvote click writes to the mapped number field on the conversational submission. SleekView rate limits per IP, per logged-in user, and per form, so a single visitor cannot stuff the ballot across multiple tabs or devices.

Filter by conversational answer

Any conversational dropdown step becomes a filter chip on the board. Visitors narrow the list by Bug, Feature request, or UX, by Open, Planned, or Shipped across the site.

Cards that read like answers

Each card shows the conversational title field at the top, the answer author name from the email or login step, and a short preview of the longer text answers across the site.

Audience

Where conversational answers become voted boards

Public product roadmap

Run a conversational idea form on your support site and embed the SleekView board on a roadmap page. Visitors upvote the suggestions they want most, and the status pills show where each request sits.

Course content suggestions

Use a conversational form to collect topic requests from students. The board surfaces the most-wanted topics by vote count, and instructors flip status from Open to Recording to Published as they.

Newsletter Q and A intake

Subscribers submit questions through a conversational intake form. The questions render publicly as a board, ranked by upvotes, so the writer always knows which questions are worth answering next in.

The bigger picture

Why conversational answers deserve a public board

Conversational forms produce some of the highest-quality responses on the web. The interface invites the kind of slow, considered answers that flat forms never get. But those answers usually die in the admin entry list.

The team that ran the survey skims a few responses, picks the loudest signal, and moves on. The audience never sees what their peers said, never finds out that twenty other people asked the same question, and never learns whether their answer changed anything. SleekView Feedback turns those conversational answers into a public, voted, status-tagged board.

Repeat questions become obvious through stacked votes rather than buried duplicates. Status pills tell submitters whether their idea got shipped, declined, or planned. The work the team already does in Fluent Forms keeps happening the same way, but the audience finally sees the inventory of ideas and watches it move.

That visibility usually doubles the signal you get from any future round of conversational forms.

Questions

Common questions about SleekView Feedback for WP Fluent Forms Conversational

No. SleekView reads from the same fluentform_submissions table that the conversational form writes to. Every upvote increments the mapped number field on the same row through the Fluent Forms REST API, so the admin entry list and the public board always show identical counts.

Yes. Any entry whose status field matches your hide list (default: Spam, Pending, Trash, Unconfirmed) is filtered out of the board but still appears in the Fluent Forms admin view. You can also add a custom meta key per entry to act as a hide flag that SleekView respects.

Add a hidden number step to the form with a default value of zero. SleekView writes upvote increments to that step on each submission row. Existing submissions will start at zero and rise as visitors vote on them. A WP-CLI command can bulk-update older entries if needed.

SleekView truncates card titles to a configurable character count, default 80, with a Read more link to a single-entry view that shows the full conversational answer. The truncation respects word boundaries so the preview never cuts off mid-word in any rendering.

Both. Anonymous votes are tracked by IP plus a session cookie, with configurable rate limits per IP per 24 hours. Logged-in users have votes tied to their user ID and can see a personal voted list in a sidebar panel. You can also require login before voting if you prefer.

Status edits happen in Fluent Forms admin. SleekView is a read-and-vote layer on top of the same data, not a separate moderation queue. You change the conversational entry status the way you always have, and the public pill updates on next page load based on your color mapping.

No. Conditional logic decides which steps a visitor sees during submission. By the time the entry hits the database, only the answered steps are stored, and SleekView reads whatever is there. If a mapped field was hidden by conditional logic on a submission, that card omits the pill.

Yes. SleekView treats every conversational form the same regardless of Pro features. Multi-page navigation, calculations, payment fields, file uploads, and Pro-only validation all run on the form side. The board only renders the resulting submission row, so Pro features layer cleanly underneath.
