SleekView for Business Directory Plugin
SleekView reads the wpbdp_listing post type, its wpbdp_category terms and the fee plan and expiry postmeta Business Directory Plugin writes, then renders the whole directory as a column-perfect table you can sort, filter and edit inline.

The Manage Listings screen is a row list, not a directory audit
Business Directory Plugin stores each listing as a wpbdp_listing post with category terms, fee plan IDs and an expiry date held in postmeta. The default Manage Listings screen paginates those posts and offers a status filter. Useful when looking at one record, awkward when an operator wants to scan inventory, see which fee plan a row sits on or pull every listing expiring this month.
SleekView reads the same posts and meta and renders them as a real table view. Category, fee plan, status and expiry become first-class columns with sort, filter and inline edit. A renewals lead can pull every listing expiring in the next thirty days in one click. A monetisation lead can scope the table to a single fee plan to see which sponsors fall under it. A moderator can sort by submission date to clear the queue oldest-first without changing screens.
The plugin keeps owning the front-end archives, the submission flow and the renewal emails. The table view owns the audit surface, so category sprawl, missing fee plan assignments and overdue renewals stop hiding inside per-listing edit screens.

Comparison
Default Business Directory admin vs SleekView
Default Manage Listings screen
- Manage Listings shows a paginated list with a status filter and no fee plan or expiry columns
- Fee plan assignment is hidden inside the listing edit screen, never in the row list
- Expiry dates exist on every listing but are not sortable as a column
- Sorting by category requires manual filter clicks, one term at a time
- Submission and payment history live in separate screens with no joined view
SleekView
- Category, fee plan and expiry rendered as real columns
- Filter to a single fee plan, category or expiry window in one click
- Inline edit on status, category and expiry without opening the listing
- Saved views per role: renewals, moderation, sales
- Same dataset the chart view reads, so table and dashboard stay in sync
Features
What SleekView gives you for Business Directory Plugin
wpbdp meta as real columns
Category, fee plan, status and expiry become first-class columns instead of fields hidden behind every listing edit screen.
Composable filters across the directory
Stack filters on category, fee plan, status and expiry window to pull renewals, free-plan stragglers or featured inventory in one query.
Inline edits route through WordPress
Approve a pending listing or extend an expiry inline and the update goes through the standard post API, so Business Directory Plugin's hooks fire as expected.

The bigger picture
Why directories need a real audit table
Business Directory Plugin gives a fully functional admin for managing one listing at a time. It does not give a row-level audit surface across the directory. Owners running a directory for sponsors or members need to scan inventory, sort by expiry, filter by fee plan and edit category in bulk.
None of those tasks fit the default Manage Listings screen. SleekView reads the same wpbdp_listing posts, wpbdp_category terms and the fee plan and expiry postmeta the plugin already writes and renders them as a sortable, filterable, inline-editable table. The directory keeps owning its data model and its front-end archives, the table view handles the audit work that the default admin was never built for.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView for Business Directory Plugin
Directly from the wpbdp_listing post type, its wpbdp_category terms and the wp_postmeta keys the plugin writes for fee plan, expiry and price. The wpbdp_payments and wpbdp_listing_fees tables are available as joined sources. No exports or shadow tables are involved.
Yes. Fee plan ID becomes a dropdown filter with the labels Business Directory Plugin already configures, so a sales lead can scope the table to Featured Annual, Standard or Free in one click.

Yes. The _wpbdp_listing_expiration meta is rendered as a sortable date column with an expiry-window filter, so renewal teams can pull every listing dropping off this week or this month.
Inline edits route through the standard WordPress update path, the same one Business Directory Plugin hooks listen to. Approving a pending listing or extending an expiry fires the same actions and filters as saving from the listing edit screen.

Yes. The wpbdp_payments table joins on the listing ID, so a Last paid column and a Lifetime revenue column are available alongside the inventory fields without any custom code.
Queries hit indexed columns on wp_posts and the indexed meta_key column on wp_postmeta. Filters compose into a single SQL query, so directories with tens of thousands of listings render fast.
Yes. Any filtered view can be exported to CSV, so a list of listings expiring next month can land in a sales tool or a renewal outreach project in one step.
No. The plugin still owns the front-end archives, the submission flow, the renewal emails and the payment gateways. SleekView adds an audit table on top of the data the plugin already writes.
