Insights tracks the rankings, the table reads the portfolio
SEOPress Insights is the SEOPress add-on that tracks keyword positions in Google over time. It writes tracked keywords, daily position snapshots, competitor URLs and country and device data into its own tables under wp_seopress_insights_*. Each tracked keyword gets a row, and each daily check appends a new position record that drives the per-keyword ranking history.
The default Insights UI shows that data as per-keyword line graphs and a table of current positions. That works for a small keyword list and becomes hard to read on a site tracking 400 keywords across multiple countries, where the question is not what does keyword X rank, but which keywords moved into the top 10 this month, how country mix breaks down across the portfolio and whether ranking improvements concentrate on cornerstone pages. SleekView reads the same Insights tables and turns the portfolio into one sortable, filterable grid.
SEOPress Insights keeps owning the daily rank check and the position storage. SleekView is a read-only layer on top of the same tables, so the tracking pipeline runs exactly as the add-on operates it.

The bigger picture
A portfolio is records, not per-keyword graphs
SEOPress Insights does the unglamorous work of checking Google daily and saving every position into a local table, but the default screen treats every keyword as a separate graph. That works at 20 tracked keywords and falls apart at 400. An SEO lead reporting in a monthly review cannot tell from per-keyword graphs which keywords gained or lost positions inside the top 10, whether country mix has stayed balanced or whether ranking improvements concentrate on cornerstone pages.
SleekView treats the Insights tables as the structured records they already are. Keywords become rows with rank, delta, country and group columns, sortable and filterable, with read-only views that account managers can embed in frontend retainer pages. The add-on keeps owning the daily rank check; SleekView adds the portfolio surface a real reporting cadence needs.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView for SEOPress Insights
No. Insights still owns the daily rank check, the competitor tracking and the per-keyword position history. SleekView reads the same Insights tables as a sortable portfolio grid and embeds read-only views on frontend retainer pages without changing how the rank check itself runs.
SEOPress Insights is a separate paid add-on on top of SEOPress (free or PRO). SleekView reads the data Insights writes once the add-on is installed and tracking is active, regardless of which SEOPress tier sits underneath.
The Insights tables store one position row per keyword per day, which the chart view aggregates into a top-10 trend. The table grid surfaces today's rank and the delta since the last check, which is the read SEO leads typically want for the per-keyword cell.
Yes. Insights stores country and device on each tracked keyword. The grid exposes both as filters, so saved views can be scoped per country or per device for clean reporting at the segment a stakeholder cares about.
Yes. Insights supports tagging keywords into groups, and the grid exposes group as a filter. SEO leads can compare ranking buckets across a brand tag, a product cluster or a campaign tag without rebuilding the table for each group.
Yes for the position data itself, because rewriting Google's reported rank does not make sense. Keyword metadata (group, tag, country, device) can be inline-edited and SleekView writes back to the Insights tables so the next rank check uses the updated configuration.
No. Queries hit indexed Insights tables and the grid paginates. Sites tracking thousands of keywords across multiple countries stay responsive because only the visible page of the underlying table is fetched.
Yes. Any saved view exports to CSV with the current filters and columns applied. Account managers typically export the top-10 list or the just-outside-top-10 list for the monthly client review.
