Simple Lightbox by Archetyped works differently from gallery-CPT plugins: it scans every page render for <a> tags that link to images and overlays the lightbox at view time. There is no gallery custom post type, so the natural data layer is post_content itself, the attachment table, and standard wp_posts metadata.

SleekView indexes post_content for image-link patterns, joins with wp_posts for post type and modified date, and pulls attachment meta for alt-text status. Title, post type, image-link count, alt-text gap count, and modified date sit as real sortable columns. Filter to blog posts with image links but missing alt text, sort by image-link count to find the heaviest galleries hiding in post_content, or pull every post not touched in two years that still uses the lightbox.

Inline alt-text fixes go through the attachment update path, so Simple Lightbox picks up the new caption on the next render. No plugin modifications, no extra runtime work on the front-end.

Simple Lightbox is intentionally low-configuration: it scans every page for image links and overlays the lightbox without a settings tree. The trade-off is that the plugin has no view into how its lightbox is actually being used across the site. Editorial teams running it on hundreds or thousands of posts have no way to see coverage by post type, no view into alt-text gaps for linked images, and no idea which old posts hold the most lightboxed content.

SleekView scans post_content directly, joins with attachment meta for alt text, and exposes the result as one sortable grid. The Simple Lightbox settings keep their role, the table becomes the content audit and accessibility cleanup layer the plugin was never designed for.
