SleekView Kanban board for FluentBooking

FluentBooking lists hide today's actual pipeline

FluentBooking stores every meeting as a row in fcal_bookings, with a status column whose values include scheduled, rescheduled, completed, cancelled, and no_show. The plugin's admin lists meetings in a paginated table and a calendar view, both of which sort by time. That works for browsing the week ahead but makes it hard to triage today's pipeline: you cannot tell at a glance how many meetings still need to be marked completed or how many cancellations need a follow-up email.

SleekView Kanban reads the same fcal_bookings table, treats status as the natural axis to group by, and renders one column per status. Cards show the invitee name, the event type, the host, the start time, the duration, and any meeting link. Per-host filters let each team member see their own pipeline. Counts at the top of each column surface the actual backlog of work without scrolling.

Drag a card from Scheduled to Completed and SleekView calls FluentBooking's booking update endpoint. The notification hooks fire, FluentCRM contact updates run, and any Slack or webhook integration listening to status changes behaves exactly as if you had used the FluentBooking admin dropdown. Drag to Cancelled and the cancellation flow runs end to end, including the customer notice you already configured.

Workflow

Set up a FluentBooking pipeline in four steps

1

Connect FluentBooking

Point SleekView at your FluentBooking install and let it introspect the fcal_bookings, fcal_calendars, and fcal_calendar_events tables. Relationships resolve so cards can show event-type and host names instead of internal IDs.
2

Pick the booking status field

Choose status on the bookings table as the group-by axis. SleekView lists every distinct value, including no_show and any custom statuses, and renders one column per value with a live count at the top.
3

Choose card fields and host filter

Pick the meta to show on each card: invitee, event type, host, start, duration, meeting link. Save per-host boards so each team member sees only their own meetings without losing the team-wide overview on the shared screen.
4

Enable drag-to-update writeback

Turn on writeback so dragging a card calls FluentBooking's booking endpoint. FluentCRM updates, email and SMS notifications, Slack messages, and webhook automations fire exactly as they would from the FluentBooking admin.

Comparison

FluentBooking admin vs SleekView Kanban

Default FluentBooking admin

  • Calendar and list views show time, not status, as the primary axis
  • No quick view of how many meetings still need to be marked completed
  • Status changes require opening each booking row to edit
  • Per-host filtering exists but does not group by stage of work
  • Rescheduled and no-show counts are buried inside the booking detail

SleekView Kanban

  • Group by status on the FluentBooking fcal_bookings table
  • Drag from Scheduled to Completed and FluentCRM updates fire
  • Cards show invitee, event type, host, start, duration, meeting link
  • Per-column counts reveal the actual day's pipeline at a glance
  • Custom statuses your workflow plugins register render as columns

Features

What SleekView Kanban gives you for FluentBooking

Status-axis board

Scheduled, Rescheduled, Completed, Cancelled, and No-show each get a column with a live count. Any custom status registered by an addon or your own code appears the moment a booking lands in it, so the board mirrors your real workflow.

Drag updates the booking

Status writes go through FluentBooking's booking endpoint, so FluentCRM contact updates, email and SMS notifications, Slack and Telegram integrations, and webhook automations all fire as if you had used FluentBooking's admin dropdown by hand.

Per-host pipelines

Save a board per host or per event type. Each team member sees only their own meetings grouped by stage, while a shared screen can drop the host filter and show the whole team's pipeline at once for the morning stand-up.

Audience

Pipelines the kanban shape makes obvious

Sales call pipeline

Run sales calls through Scheduled, Completed, and Rescheduled columns. The Completed count by end of day becomes a clean activity metric, and the Rescheduled column flags follow-up work.

Coaching follow-through

Coaches see their own Scheduled column at the start of the day and drag each meeting to Completed as it ends. The No-show column becomes a natural prompt for the next outreach, with FluentCRM updates triggered automatically.

Show-rate dashboard

The Completed, Cancelled, and No-show columns together give an at-a-glance show-rate for any team or any event type. Compare two weeks side by side without leaving the board.

The bigger picture

Meetings are a pipeline you can actually see

FluentBooking is a clean meeting scheduler that quietly does the right thing for round-robin, group events, payments, and FluentCRM integration. What it does not give you, by default, is a pipeline view of all the meetings sitting in the system right now. The calendar shows time.

The list shows a paginated feed. Neither makes it obvious that you have ten meetings still waiting to be marked completed, three that got rescheduled and need a follow-up email, and two no-shows that should trigger a different sequence. A kanban view turns that hidden state into the entire screen.

The team sees the work, drags it forward, and the underlying FluentCRM contact picks up the same hooks it would have picked up from the admin dropdown. Status becomes a live signal instead of a property buried inside a row, and the daily stand-up becomes a five-second look at a board instead of a fifteen-minute scroll through a list.

Questions

Common questions about SleekView Kanban for FluentBooking

The values FluentBooking uses on the status column of fcal_bookings: Scheduled, Rescheduled, Completed, Cancelled, and No-show. Custom statuses added through FluentBooking's hook system or your own code appear automatically the moment a row uses them.

Yes. SleekView writes through FluentBooking's booking update endpoint, which is the same code path the admin dropdown uses. FluentCRM contact updates, notification emails, Slack integrations, and webhook automations all fire normally.

Yes. Any answer FluentBooking stores against the booking can be added to the card. Pick from text, select, multi-select, and file fields. The card surface shows the most useful answers and the rest open in a detail view.

Yes. Round-robin meetings appear under the host they were assigned to, and group meetings render one card per invitee in the status column matching their own state. A group event can have some attendees in Scheduled and others in No-show at once.

Yes. FluentBooking's FluentCRM integration listens for booking status transitions, and SleekView's writes go through the same path as the admin dropdown. Tags and lists update on Cancelled or Completed exactly as configured.

Yes. Save a board per host or per event type, and SleekView only loads the meetings in scope. Drags only update those bookings, so a single team member can run their own pipeline without the rest of the team's noise.

Yes. SleekView reconciles state on a short interval. If a booking gets updated outside the board, the card moves on the next refresh. Optimistic drags revert with a clear inline message if a write is rejected because the underlying state has moved.

Yes. The payment status field is exposed alongside booking status and can be shown on the card or used to colour it. Refunds triggered on Cancelled drags go through FluentBooking's payment integration exactly as they would from the admin.
