SleekView Kanban for WooCommerce Product Search
SleekView Kanban reads the WooCommerce products that WooCommerce Product Search indexes for fast search and filtering, groups every product by stock or catalog visibility, and lets you drag from In Stock to Out of Stock while the index status and SKU stay on each card.

Indexed products still hide behind a flat catalog list
WooCommerce Product Search builds a fast index over your catalog using terms, attributes, and taxonomies stored in its own tables, then drives live search and filtering on the storefront. The catalog itself still lives in the WooCommerce product post type with stock statuses like instock, outofstock, and onbackorder, plus catalog visibility values like visible, catalog, search, and hidden. The admin product list shows it all in a long table sorted by ID or name.
SleekView Kanban reads the same products through the WooCommerce REST endpoints, pulls the catalog visibility meta with each row, and turns either the stock status or catalog visibility into the natural grouping axis. Each card shows the product name, SKU, stock count, and a marker for whether the product is in the Product Search index. Merchandisers can see at a glance which indexed products are out of stock, which hidden products still show up in search, and which catalog products need attention.
Drag a card from In Stock to Out of Stock and SleekView writes through the WooCommerce REST endpoints. The Product Search index updates on the next sync, catalog visibility writes happen the same way, and any reporting or analytics plugins watching stock status see the change exactly as they would from the admin. Indexed products become a visible, drag-and-drop catalog instead of a long list.
Workflow
Build an indexed product board in four steps
Connect WooCommerce products
product post type, the WooCommerce stock and catalog visibility meta, and any Product Search index flags written into product meta without any extra mapping.
Pick the grouping column
_stock_status for a fulfilment-style board, or _visibility for a catalog-visibility board. SleekView lists every distinct value in the chosen column and renders one column per value with counts that update as drags settle.

Default WooCommerce Products
- Flat product list sorted by ID or name with stock and visibility hidden in tabs
- Stock status changes require opening each product and editing a field
- No visual sense of how many indexed products sit at each status today
- Catalog visibility lives behind clicks instead of on the catalog screen
- Filtering by index status and stock combined needs a custom query or export

Features
What SleekView Kanban gives you for WooCommerce Product Search
Catalog visibility on cards
Cards surface the catalog visibility value (visible, catalog only, search only, hidden) next to the SKU and stock count. Merchandisers can see at a glance which products are still in the storefront search index and which are hidden from it.
Drag to change stock or visibility
Move a card from In Stock to Out of Stock, or from Visible to Hidden, and SleekView writes through the WooCommerce REST endpoints. The Product Search index resyncs cleanly, and any reporting plugins watching the same meta see the change immediately.
Filtered boards per attribute
Save a board scoped to a category, tag, or attribute term to run a focused merchandising review. Counts update live as drags settle, so seasonal pushes or attribute-specific catalog work stay on a board built for them.
Audience
Workflows the kanban view unlocks for merchandising teams
Low-stock and out-of-stock review
Start on the Low Stock and Out of Stock columns with SKU and visibility visible on every card. Drag products back to In Stock as restock arrives, or hide them from search until they return, all without opening individual products.
Seasonal catalog refresh
Save a board scoped to a seasonal category. Drag products into Visible as the season starts and into Hidden when it ends. The Product Search index updates so storefront search reflects the active catalog without manual edits.
Bestseller and backorder triage
Filter a board to high-volume SKUs and watch the Out of Stock column. Drag products to Backorder with ETA on the card to set expectations, and back to In Stock once the shipment arrives. Search index keeps up automatically.
The bigger picture
Catalog work is operational and belongs on a board
WooCommerce Product Search makes storefront search and filtering fast by maintaining its own index over the catalog, but the catalog itself still lives in the WooCommerce admin as a flat product list. Merchandisers spend their day toggling stock status, adjusting catalog visibility, and pushing seasonal products in and out of the storefront, and the default admin makes every one of those edits a click-into-the-product affair. The board view fixes this by treating the catalog as the operational surface it actually is.
Stock status or catalog visibility becomes the column axis, each product becomes a card with SKU, stock count, price, and visibility on it, and a drag updates the underlying meta through the WooCommerce REST endpoints so Product Search resyncs cleanly. A daily Low Stock review becomes a single screen. A seasonal hide-and-show pass becomes a few drags between columns.
The catalog work that drives storefront search performance finally lives on the same board the team uses for fulfilment.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView Kanban for WooCommerce Product Search
Yes. Catalog visibility (visible, catalog only, search only, hidden) is a first-class card field, and you can also choose visibility itself as the group-by axis to get a catalog-visibility board. Either way, the value the WooCommerce Product Search index watches stays visible on every card.
Yes. SleekView writes through the WooCommerce REST endpoints, which is the same path the admin uses. Product Search hooks into those updates and resyncs the index on its next pass, so storefront search results match the catalog state after every drag.
Yes. Column filters scope the board to any taxonomy term or attribute value, and saved filters become their own boards. Merchandisers can run a seasonal-category board alongside the aggregate catalog board without switching between admin screens.
Yes. Variations show up as their own rows when you choose variations as the data source, with their parent product, attribute combination, and variation-specific stock and visibility visible on each card. Variable parents can also be shown if that is your preference.

Every distinct value in the _stock_status column becomes its own column on the board the moment a product lands in it. Custom statuses from inventory, backorder, or warehousing plugins render alongside the WooCommerce defaults with no mapping.
Yes. SleekView polls product state on a short interval and reconciles drags against the live record. If a colleague has already updated stock or visibility, you see the new state before your drag conflicts, and optimistic updates revert cleanly when a write is rejected.
Yes. SleekView paginates within columns and only fetches the visible cards from the WooCommerce REST endpoints, so even catalogs with tens of thousands of products stay responsive. Drag writes confirm before the card settles, which keeps the board honest under load.
Yes. Quick-edit fields on each card support common updates including stock count, price, and visibility. For deeper changes, the card includes an edit link that opens the product admin screen in a new tab with the standard WooCommerce editor.
