SleekPixel for YITH WooCommerce Compare: comparison OG cards
YITH WooCommerce Compare lets shoppers stack products side by side. SleekPixel reads the product IDs from the compare URL and renders a card with the compared products, their prices, and key attributes, so shared compare links preview as actual side-by-side comparisons.

Comparison URLs that show the comparison
YITH WooCommerce Compare stores selected products in a session or in wp_yith_wccp_list for logged-in users, then exposes a comparison URL that lists products by ID. A typical compare URL has two to four product IDs and a chosen attribute set. Visitors share those URLs in messaging when they want a friend's opinion on a decision: "which of these chairs should I go with?"
SleekPixel reads the product IDs from the compare URL, loads each WooCommerce product, and pulls title, featured image, price, and the attributes configured for comparison from wp_postmeta. The card renders the products side by side with their images and prices, and a small grid showing the attribute differences underneath. Out-of-stock products get a different visual state to make the decision easier.
The card is cached against the exact ordered list of product IDs in the compare URL, so two different orderings or two different product sets produce different cards. Stock or price changes on any of the compared products invalidate the card so the next share reflects current state.

Features
What SleekPixel gives you for YITH WooCommerce Compare
Side-by-side layout
Two, three, or four products render side by side on the card with their featured images and titles. The layout adapts based on how many products are in the compare URL.
Attribute differences
Key attributes configured for comparison, such as material, dimensions, weight, or warranty, render as a small grid under the products with values pulled from wp_postmeta.
Live prices and stock
Each product's price formats with store currency settings. Out-of-stock products render with a different visual state so the comparison reads honestly.
Use cases
Where YITH Compare shares benefit most
Decision-time messages
Shoppers share compare URLs when asking for opinions. Per-comparison cards show the friend the actual options instead of just a shop link.
Buyer's-guide content
Editorial "three to consider" articles often link to compare URLs. Per-comparison cards make the embedded link previews look like real buyer's guides.
Sales and concierge
Support and sales staff sharing curated comparisons send a card that looks like a recommendation deck, not just another shop URL.
The bigger picture
Comparisons are decision moments that deserve clear shares
Compare URLs only get shared at one specific moment: when a shopper is trying to decide. They send the URL to a friend, a partner, a colleague, or a stylist and ask for an opinion. The recipient sees a link preview before they see the page itself.
If the preview is the generic shop logo, the recipient has no idea what is being asked. They have to click through to see anything. If the preview shows the products side by side with prices and a difference, the recipient can already start forming an opinion, and the conversation goes faster.
SleekPixel turns the compare URL into that visible preview. The same product images, same prices, same attributes from the YITH compare table show up on the card. The shopper's question becomes legible at a glance.
The shop's branding still anchors the card, so the preview also serves as a brand impression every time a comparison is shared. Decisions get faster, conversions get higher, and the comparison feature stops being a hidden corner of the site.
Questions
Common questions about SleekPixel for YITH WooCommerce Compare
Yes. The integration parses the YITH-specific query parameters to extract the ordered list of product IDs, then loads each WooCommerce product via wc_get_product() for the render.
The layout adapts for two, three, or four products by default. Beyond four, the template can either truncate to the top four or render a denser layout, depending on the configuration chosen in the SleekPixel template editor.

Yes. The integration reads the attribute keys configured in YITH Compare's settings and pulls each value from wp_postmeta for the compared products. A small grid under the products shows the differences.
Out-of-stock products render with a muted visual variant defined in the template, so the comparison stays honest. Some templates also add a small "Out of stock" badge to that product's column.
Yes. The exact ordered list of product IDs is hashed and used as the cache key, so a comparison of A-B-C and B-C-A produce different cached cards. Repeat shares of the same URL serve a static PNG.
Edits to price, stock, featured image, title, or compared attribute values on any of the included products invalidate the card. The next visit to the compare URL regenerates with the updated state.

Yes. YITH stores compare selections either in the session or in wp_yith_wccp_list for logged-in users. SleekPixel reads from the URL parameters directly, so it works for both anonymous and logged-in compare flows.
Yes. The compare template is a separate template binding in SleekPixel. Single product cards stay focused on one product, while compare cards use a side-by-side layout for two to four products at a time.
