SleekPixel for YITH WooCommerce Quick View

YITH Quick View lets shoppers preview products in a modal without leaving the listing. Many themes expose direct quick view URLs that visitors share. SleekPixel renders a per-product OG card from the linked product, with title, price, stock, and image read live from WooCommerce.

Quick-view URLs that share like product URLs

YITH Quick View attaches a modal preview to product listings. Shoppers can scan a grid and pop open product details without leaving the archive. When the modal is enabled as a direct URL, those URLs are sometimes shared verbatim, especially from messaging apps where copying the link is easier than navigating to the full product page. The link preview, however, is the shop logo on every one of them.

SleekPixel reads the product ID embedded in the YITH Quick View URL, loads the WooCommerce product object, and renders a card showing the product's title, featured image, price, and stock state. The card style can match the regular product OG template or have its own quick-view-specific variant, with a small "Quick view" badge that mirrors the modal experience.

Because the card is rendered server-side, the data is always live. Price changes refresh the next render. Stock changes flip the badge variant. Adding new products that get quick-viewed produces new cards automatically. There is no manual step between adding a product and having a shareable quick view link.

Workflow

From a quick view URL to a per-product card

1

Detect the YITH Quick View URL

SleekPixel recognizes quick view URLs by their YITH-specific query parameters, reads the product ID, and confirms the product exists and is published.
2

Load the WooCommerce product

Using wc_get_product(), the integration loads the product object with title, price, stock, currency, and featured image data ready to render.
3

Render the card

The template renders title, featured image, price, and stock badge into a PNG. A small "Quick view" indicator marks the card as a quick-view share if desired.
4

Serve and cache

The quick view URL's og:image tag points to the cached PNG. Repeat shares serve the static file. Product edits in WooCommerce trigger a re-render on next access.

Comparison

Generic shop OG vs SleekPixel for YITH Quick View

Same shop image on every quick view

  • Every shared quick view URL previews with the same generic shop OG image
  • Quick view link previews do not reflect the product they point to
  • Price changes and stock state never reach the shared social card
  • Out-of-stock quick view URLs preview as if the product were available
  • Marketing cannot tell from a quick view share which product is being discussed

SleekPixel

  • Reads the product ID from the YITH Quick View URL and loads the product
  • Title, featured image, price, and stock state render on the card
  • Stock-aware badges flip between In stock, Out of stock, Pre-order, and Backorder
  • Cards cached per product ID so repeat shares serve a static PNG
  • Card refresh on product save via WooCommerce save hooks

Features

What SleekPixel gives you for YITH WooCommerce Quick View

Quick view badge

A small "Quick view" badge anchors the card so recipients know they are looking at a modal-style link. The badge can be replaced in the template or removed entirely.

Live product data

Title, image, price, stock, and category all read from the WooCommerce product at render time. Edits in the WooCommerce admin refresh the next render automatically.

Per-product cache

Cards live as cached PNG files keyed by product ID. Repeat shares serve a static image. Stock or price changes invalidate the card so the next render reflects new state.

Use cases

Where YITH Quick View URLs benefit most

Listing-heavy stores

Stores with large grid layouts where shoppers prefer quick view over full product pages ship per-product cards on every quick-view share, not the shop logo.

Affiliate-driven discovery

Affiliates frequently use quick view URLs as easy share links. Per-product cards make those links convert closer to real product page shares.

Support and concierge

Support staff often paste quick view URLs into chats. Per-product cards make the suggestion visually clear before the customer clicks through.

The bigger picture

Modal URLs are still URLs, and they still get shared

Quick view started as a UX feature, a way to keep shoppers in the archive while still letting them see product details. But over time, those modal URLs leaked into messaging apps, into emails, into community posts. People copy whatever URL they see, including the quick view URL.

The link preview on those URLs has historically been worse than the preview on the full product page, because nothing was built to handle quick-view shares specifically. SleekPixel treats a quick view URL as a first-class product share. The card carries the product image, the price, the stock state, and the brand.

A small badge or label can mark it as a quick view if the shop wants to differentiate, otherwise the card matches the regular product OG card. Either way, the link preview now communicates the product, not the shop in general. Shoppers who share a quick view URL no longer hurt their own pings with a worse-looking preview than they would have gotten from the full product page.

Questions

Common questions about SleekPixel for YITH WooCommerce Quick View

Yes. The integration recognizes YITH Quick View query parameters and extracts the product ID, then loads the WooCommerce product via wc_get_product() for the render.

It can be. The quick view template can match the regular product OG card exactly, or differ slightly with a "Quick view" badge. Both are configurable from the SleekPixel admin per product post type.

The stock badge variant flips based on the WooCommerce product's stock status. In stock, Out of stock, Pre-order, and Backorder each have their own style, so a recipient can read availability before clicking through.

SleekPixel hooks into save_post_product and invalidates the cached card. The next visit to the quick view URL re-renders the PNG with the new title, price, image, or stock state.

Yes. The integration works on direct quick view URLs. If quick view is only triggered via JavaScript on the archive page without a direct URL, the cards still render for the underlying product pages, just not for a quick-view-specific URL.

Yes. Each product has its own cached PNG. Quick view shares for the same product serve the same cached file, while different products produce different cards. Cache invalidates on product save.

Yes. Variable products render with the parent's title and featured image by default. If the quick view URL specifies a variation, the variation's price and stock are read instead of the parent's, so the card reflects the specific variation.

Yes. The badge slot is part of the template. Hiding or replacing it makes quick view shares indistinguishable from full product page shares, which some shops prefer for visual consistency.
