From four ai1ec Pro views to one planning grid
All-in-One Event Calendar Pro extends the free plugin with imported feeds, additional category controls, and front-end views for power users. The data model stays the same: events are the ai1ec_event custom post type with iCalendar-aligned meta for start, end, venue, address, category, recurrence, and contact details, plus Pro fields for imported feed sources and extra metadata.
SleekView reads the same CPT and the same meta, including the Pro fields, and turns them into a real grid. Title, venue, category, start date, recurrence, and source feed sit as real columns next to status and author. Saved views split the work by venue, by category, or by source feed, and inline edits write to the same meta keys the public calendar uses.
The grid does not replace any ai1ec Pro view. Month, week, agenda, and posterboard views continue to render on the front end. SleekView reads the rows in the admin and surfaces them as a list organizers, venue coordinators, and marketing teams open every week.

Features
What SleekView gives you for All-in-One Event Calendar Pro
iCalendar meta plus Pro fields
Start, end, venue, category, recurrence, and source feed move out of the editor and onto the grid. Organizers see the structured fields the iCalendar feed already exposes.
Filter by venue or source feed
Compose a precise filter (Main Hall this month, Imported feed conflicts, all Wellness next week) and save it. The grid surfaces the exact slice the role works on.
Inline reschedule and swap venue
Change a start time or swap a venue from the row. Edits write to the same meta keys the public calendar reads, so the iCalendar feed stays consistent.
Audience
Who uses SleekView for ai1ec Pro
Event organizers
Filter the month by venue to catch a double booking before the customer does. The grid surfaces the conflict where the calendar views would hide it under overlapping pills.
Venue coordinators
Save a view per venue and use it as the venue's weekly schedule. The recurrence column flags standing weekly bookings against one-off events at a glance.
Marketing teams
Filter by category for the newsletter pick, or by source feed to confirm imported partner events landed. Export the rows to CSV, hand the list to the copywriter.
The bigger picture
Why a real events grid beats the ai1ec Pro editor
ai1ec Pro inherits the iCalendar alignment of the free plugin and adds power-user features (imported feeds, additional category controls). That alignment is exactly why a real grid matters in the admin. The meta is already structured, but the WordPress posts list is the wrong shape to read it across venues, categories, and source feeds.
Treating events as rows in a sortable, filterable grid turns the calendar from a public-facing display into a planning surface. Saved views become the rituals of the role (Friday venue check, Monday rescheduled list, weekly source-feed audit), and the team spends less time clicking through the per-event editor to discover what was already structured in the meta.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView for All-in-One Event Calendar Pro
Yes. The data model is the same. SleekView reads the ai1ec_event CPT and meta whether the site runs the free version or the Pro tier.
Yes. Any Pro field stored as meta on the event CPT can be promoted to a column and used as a filter or sort key.
Yes. The recurrence rule is a column and a filter. The plugin's recurrence engine continues to drive the public calendar because the grid reads through the same meta keys.
Yes. Start and end timestamps are editable cells in the grid. Edits write to the same meta keys the public calendar reads.
Yes. Imported events land in the ai1ec_event CPT the same way manually created events do, so they appear in the grid alongside everything else. The source-feed field can be promoted to a column.
Yes. The grid is admin only. Month, week, agenda, and posterboard views continue to render the same data on the front end.
Yes. Select multiple rows and edit the start date in bulk. Edits route through CRUD so any post-save hooks fire as expected.
Activity has been intermittent over the years, which is exactly why a thin admin layer that reads and writes the same meta keys is useful. SleekView depends only on the event CPT and meta, not on plugin internals.
