SleekView for Directory Pro: directory entries as tables
Directory Pro stores entries as a custom post type with category, package, and claim fields in wp_postmeta. SleekView reads those rows and renders a fast admin grid for directory operators managing thousands of entries.

Directory Pro entries, sortable and filterable
Directory Pro builds its directory on top of a custom post type stored in wp_posts with the entry-specific data in wp_postmeta. Category, package, claim status, location, rating, and any custom field defined in the plugin all sit on the entry as postmeta keys. The default admin shows the entries as a standard WordPress post list, which means title and date with everything else hidden one click away.
SleekView joins the entry posts with the relevant wp_postmeta rows and exposes those fields as columns. Operators see package, claim status, category, and rating directly in the list. Filters compose, so you can build a view of Featured listings in Paris with a rating above 4.5 in a few clicks. Saved views per role let moderators, sales, and operators each open the queue that matches their work.
Inline edits route through Directory Pro's normal save paths. Featured flag changes, category swaps, and package upgrades all update front-end archives, the search, and any conditional logic the plugin applies. SleekView is admin-only and never re-implements Directory Pro's templates.

Audience
Who uses SleekView for Directory Pro
Directory operators
Manage thousands of entries across cities and categories from one grid. Filter by city, sort by rating, and edit packages or featured flags without opening every record.
Sales teams
See expiring Premium entries and unupgraded Free entries side by side. Sort by expiry to drive renewal calls and bulk feature paid campaigns in one action.
Moderators
Approve, edit, or trash entries with bulk actions during launches. Filter pending submissions and claim requests and clear the queue in one sitting.
The bigger picture
Why Directory Pro directories need scaled admin
Directory Pro handles the data fine. The default WordPress admin does not. A directory crosses a couple of thousand entries and the standard post list stops being a working surface.
Operators end up opening every entry to change a category. Sales teams cannot see at a glance which Premium listings expire next month. Moderators cannot bulk approve a wave of submissions during a launch.
The information is already in the database, indexed and queryable, but the admin surfaces it one record at a time. SleekView reads the entry posts and the related postmeta, joins them into a fast grid, and lets operators sort, filter, and edit inline. It does not change how Directory Pro stores entries or how front-end search works.
It just makes the admin match the scale the plugin was built to handle.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView for Directory Pro
Yes. SleekView queries wp_posts for the directory post type and joins wp_postmeta for package, claim, rating, and category. Those fields become sortable columns instead of being hidden one click away.
Yes. Package, category, and featured flag are editable cells in the grid. Edits route through Directory Pro's normal save paths, so the front-end archives, search, and conditional logic all stay in sync.
Any custom field defined in Directory Pro, like opening hours, payment options, or service area, surfaces as a column or filter. SleekView reads the postmeta key and shows the label you configured, so operators do not need to memorise meta keys.
Yes. SleekView is admin-only. Front-end search, category archives, and entry detail pages all keep working through their existing paths. Inline edits go through Directory Pro's save paths so the front end refreshes the same way it would after editing through the plugin.
Yes. Filter the grid to Pending entries and bulk-approve them in one action. Useful during launches when dozens of submissions land at once and moderators do not want to open each record.
Yes. Claim status is exposed as a column and filter, so a view of Pending claims gives moderators everything they need to verify and approve in batches. Claim notifications still fire through Directory Pro's hooks.
Yes. Any filtered grid exports to CSV with the columns you choose. Useful for sharing a list of expiring entries with the sales team or backing up a category before a bulk update.

Queries hit wp_posts and wp_postmeta with indexed joins, so a few thousand entries stay responsive. Saved views cache the column selection so reopening a view does not re-derive the schema each time.
