Kalium Photo Gallery, shipped with the Kalium theme by Laborator, stores galleries as posts with a layout meta field (Grid, Masonry, Justified, Carousel), image attachments referenced through post meta, and optional categories or tags. Each gallery row carries the chosen layout, image count, publish date, and category assignments.

SleekView reads the gallery post type and its meta and exposes layout, image count, category, and publish date as real sortable columns. Filter to galleries on the Masonry layout in a specific category, sort by image count to find empty or thin galleries, or pull every gallery published in the current quarter without leaving the table.

Inline edits go through save_post, so cached Kalium assets refresh on the next render. Bulk-swap layouts across a section of the portfolio, move galleries between categories, or retitle for a campaign without opening each post.

Kalium is a photography- and creative-focused theme whose gallery layouts are part of why studios pick it. The trade-off is that gallery management lives inside individual page or portfolio editors, with no cross-gallery surface for portfolio-wide work. Studios with three years of shoots and dozens of galleries end up maintaining a parallel spreadsheet just to track which galleries exist, what layout each uses, and when each was last touched.
