Ideogram broke out by handling text inside generated images better than the early diffusion models. Prompt for a poster with a slogan, and the slogan actually reads. That is a real win for creators who want flexible typographic illustrations for hero blocks, marketing assets, or one-off social images. The job Ideogram does not do is render a per-post WordPress card from the structured data that the post already carries. There is no prompt that uses the live title, byline, category, and date of every post in an archive of two thousand articles and renders a consistent card for each one.

SleekPixel handles that other job specifically. The card is a template, not a prompt. The post is the input, the rendered PNG is the output, and the loop runs on save without an external model call. og:image and twitter:image meta point at the rendered card, so every share preview reflects the post.

The split is clean. Ideogram for prompts where readable typography is the win, SleekPixel for templated cards where structured post fields are the input. Most WordPress sites need both, in different parts of the workflow. The two do not compete because the inputs differ: a prompt versus a post.

Generative models are strong when the input is open-ended and the output is exploratory. Per-post cards are the opposite. The input is a known set of fields, the output should be predictable, and the loop has to run every time a post is saved.

Templated rendering matches that shape: the same template, the same fields, the same output structure, with the post's actual data filling in. Ideogram is a fine tool for the part of the workflow that is exploratory. It is not the right tool for the part that should be automatic.
