SleekPixel for review cards
SleekPixel reads each review's rating, quote, reviewer name, and product, then writes a 1200 by 630 OG image on save. The review post is the source of truth, and the card on social is just a reflection of it.

Reviews lose their share value the moment they need a designer
Most stores collect more reviews than they ever turn into social posts. The good ones sit in the review widget, get a quick reply from support, and never make it past the product page. The reason is mechanical, not strategic. Turning a single five-star review into a clean shareable card is a fifteen-minute design job, and fifteen-minute design jobs lose to whatever else is on the queue that week.
SleekPixel removes the design step. You build one OG layout in the WordPress admin with placeholders for {reviewer_name}, {rating}, {quote}, and {product_name}. Every review post (or row from your reviews plugin) renders against that template on save. The card carries the rating glyph, the trimmed quote, and the product mark, all sourced from the same fields the storefront reads. The image URL goes straight into og:image, twitter:image, and a sidebar download for ad-hoc shares.
Edit the layout once and the entire review archive refreshes. Promote a five-star review from last quarter and the card already exists at the right URL. The review system stays where it lives, and the social asset becomes a programmatic byproduct of saving the review.

Comparison
Hand-made review graphics vs SleekPixel
Designed per review in Figma
- Each five-star review waits behind a design queue
- Long quotes overflow the safe area or get clipped
- Star count drifts from the source as the layout is rebuilt
- Brand refresh leaves old review cards visibly outdated
- No bulk update across hundreds of reviews
SleekPixel
- Auto-generated card per review on save
- Per-review variables: reviewer name, rating, quote, product, date
- One template covers every review in the archive
- Edit the template once and every card refreshes
- Falls back gracefully when product image or rating is missing
Features
What SleekPixel gives you for review cards
Rating glyph baked in
Star count renders from the rating field as filled and empty glyphs. No designer maintains a row of star assets per card.
Auto-fit quote text
Quote text scales between min and max bounds so a one-sentence praise and a paragraph of detail both fill the frame cleanly.
Bulk regenerate
Updated the layout? One click rebuilds every review card so the entire archive matches the new look without per-review work.
Use cases
Where review cards earn their keep
DTC product reviews
Every five-star product review renders to a feed-ready card the marketing team can push to social the day it lands.
Service reviews
Agency, contractor, and consultant reviews share to LinkedIn with the reviewer name, role, and company already on the card.
Editorial pull-quotes
Press reviews from publications get a uniform card style, with the publication mark replacing the customer photo slot.
The bigger picture
Why review cards belong in a render pipeline
Reviews are the highest-trust marketing asset most stores have, and they are also the asset most often left in a widget. The constraint is rarely the review itself. It is the gap between a customer pressing submit and a designer producing a feed-ready card.
That gap is wide enough that most reviews never close it. The brands that visibly publish review cards every week are not the ones with bigger creative teams. They are the ones who removed the design step entirely.
A template that maps reviewer name, rating, and quote to fixed slots converts every review into an asset the moment it lands. The cost of producing a card now matches the cost of saving the review, which is essentially free. Over a year that turns a sporadic stream of social proof into a steady one, and steady wins on attention.
SleekPixel makes that the default behavior, not a project, by tying the rendered card to the same fields the storefront already reads.
Questions
Common questions about SleekPixel for review cards
Yes. If reviews live in a post type, custom or otherwise, SleekPixel can render against them. Plugins like Site Reviews, Strong Testimonials, and WooCommerce reviews all expose fields you can map to template variables.
Yes. The template can take the numeric rating and output filled and empty glyphs as text or inline SVG. No row of pre-exported star PNGs to maintain.
Set a character cap with clean ellipsis truncation, or use auto-fit type to scale the quote between min and max sizes. For very long reviews, a variant template with smaller type can be routed by category.
Yes. The admin includes a one-click bulk regenerator that rebuilds every review card from the current template, useful after brand refreshes or layout tweaks.
No. Cards render at save time and are stored as static PNGs in /uploads. Visitors load a regular image URL with no runtime rendering.
Yes. SleekPixel supports per-category, per-tag, and per-CPT templates. Apparel reviews can use one card style and software reviews another, routed automatically by taxonomy.
Instagram does not read og:image directly, but the file URL feeds straight into Buffer, Later, Publer, or any scheduler that posts to Instagram. The asset is ready for any of those flows.
Stores. Each card is a real PNG saved to the uploads folder, so page loads stay fast and assets survive even if the plugin is later disabled.
