SleekView Charts for Jetpack Social: shares as dashboards
Jetpack Social pushes posts to Facebook, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Mastodon, and Instagram and records each share as postmeta on the source post, but the Jetpack admin only shows a flat per-post status list. SleekView Charts reads those same meta rows and turns them into KPIs, donuts, ranked bars, and trend lines on one saved dashboard.

Per-post Jetpack share logs deserve a real dashboard
Jetpack Social records every auto-share attempt directly on the post that triggered it. Connections sit in wp_options under the jetpack_publicize_connections key, and per-post share status lives in wp_postmeta using keys like _publicize_done_external, _publicize_twitter_user, and the various _wpas_done_ rows the plugin writes after each push. The Jetpack screen renders a flat per-post status, but it offers no editorial dashboard for ranking posts, comparing networks, or watching share activity over time.
SleekView Charts treats Jetpack Social's postmeta as the data source it already is. Point a SleekView source at wp_postmeta, filter by the _publicize_ and _wpas_done_ meta keys, and join to wp_posts by post_id to get titles and publish dates. From there a Number card counts total shares, a Donut splits them across networks, a Horizontal Bar ranks top posts, and an Area chart traces share volume by post date.
The pushing stays untouched. Jetpack keeps writing its meta keys after each auto-share exactly as it does today, and the post editor still shows the same per-post status. The chart dashboard sits on top as a reading layer, so editors and SEO leads can answer which posts and which networks actually receive shares without opening every single post in the Jetpack publish panel.

- No trend visualisation of share volume across recent publishing periods
- No saved per-role dashboard for editors or clients to read share activity

Features
What SleekView Charts gives you for Jetpack Social
Networks side by side
Group postmeta by meta_key so Facebook, LinkedIn, Tumblr, and Mastodon share rows sit next to each other instead of hidden under per-post Jetpack publish panels. One donut answers which connection actually carries your traffic.
Growth trends without exports
Aggregate _wpas_done_ rows by post_date to see which months produced the most auto-shared content. The area chart shows the curve directly inside WP admin, with no CSV exports or external analytics platforms required.
Editor-ready dashboards
Save chart views, scope them per role, and embed them on a frontend page so editors and SEO leads see the same numbers without anyone needing the Jetpack settings screen in WP admin themselves.
Audience
Who builds Jetpack Social chart dashboards with SleekView
Editorial teams
A ranked top-posts bar tells the editorial team which articles Jetpack actually pushed to social, while the network donut answers which connections are over-indexed compared to where readers actually engage.
Content marketing leads
Group by post category and count _wpas_done_ rows to see which topic clusters get pushed most across Jetpack connections, then rebalance the editorial calendar around what actually leaves the site.
Agencies running client sites
Build a Jetpack share dashboard per client and embed it on a private frontend page so clients see weekly progress without needing access to the WordPress admin or the Jetpack publish panel.
The bigger picture
Jetpack share activity that finally turns into decisions
Jetpack Social is the easiest way to push WordPress posts to multiple social networks, but the share activity it records on every post tends to sit in postmeta as rows nobody reads. The publish panel lists a status per connection on the post being edited, and the Jetpack stats dashboard summarises traffic without exposing the actual share log. Neither view answers the questions editors actually have: which posts were pushed the most, which network is over-indexed, and whether auto-share volume is trending up or down with each new publish.
SleekView Charts treats the same _wpas_done_ and _publicize_ meta keys as the dataset they already are. A KPI for total shares, a donut for network mix, a ranked bar for top posts, and an area chart of share activity over time all sit on one saved dashboard. Jetpack keeps pushing, the buttons keep rendering, and nothing about the share side changes; what changes is that the meta finally turns into editorial decisions.
Questions
Common questions about SleekView Charts for Jetpack Social
No. Jetpack Social keeps writing its share status to wp_postmeta and pushing posts to your connected networks. SleekView Charts is a reading layer on top of the same meta keys, not a replacement for Jetpack, its publish panel, or its OAuth connections.
SleekView reads the meta keys Jetpack writes after each auto-share: _wpas_done_facebook, _wpas_done_linkedin, _wpas_done_tumblr, _wpas_done_mastodon, plus _publicize_twitter_user and other _publicize_ rows. You configure which keys participate in each card.
Yes. Group postmeta by meta_key in a single Pie or Bar card and your dashboard shows every Jetpack connection side by side. You can also add separate Number cards per network for KPI-style headline figures at the top of the page.
No. SleekView Charts only reads existing rows from wp_postmeta. It never triggers Jetpack's publish workflow, alters connection tokens, or changes how the plugin pushes shares to social, so your Jetpack Social configuration is exactly as you set it.
Yes. Saved chart views support role-based visibility, so editors and SEO leads can read the Jetpack share dashboard while the rest of the site users see only what their role allows. The same scoping applies to frontend embeds too.
Yes. Any saved SleekView chart view can be embedded on a frontend page or admin page with role-based access, which is how agencies share Jetpack auto-share dashboards with clients without giving them WordPress admin access at all.
Cards aggregate against wp_postmeta with indexed lookups, so dashboards stay quick even on sites with tens of thousands of posts. SleekView caches expensive aggregates so chart loads remain fast on large content libraries with heavy Jetpack share history.
No. SleekView Charts reads the postmeta keys Jetpack writes by default on any plan that includes Social. No additional Jetpack tier is required, and you do not need to change a single Jetpack setting to start building share dashboards on top of your existing data.
