SleekPixel for All in One SEO

All in One SEO's Social tab asks for a per-post image. SleekPixel renders that image from a template using the post's own fields, then writes the URL into AIOSEO's field on save. Every post gets a branded card without a design step.

AIOSEO sets the meta tag, SleekPixel renders the image

All in One SEO is one of the original WordPress SEO plugins and still one of the most installed. Its post editor has a Social tab where you set per-post Open Graph and Twitter card data, including the og:image. AIOSEO writes those tags into the head correctly, but the image itself has to come from somewhere - usually a designer-made file or a manual screenshot, which is why most posts end up using the sitewide default fallback.

SleekPixel turns the image side into a render. We populate AIOSEO's per-post og:image field with a PNG generated from a template you design once, using fields from the post: title, category, author, taxonomies, custom fields. On save, the URL gets written into AIOSEO's Social tab and the meta tags fire as configured.

The two plugins do not overlap. AIOSEO owns SEO: titles, descriptions, schema, sitemaps, redirects, link assistant, and the meta-tag output. SleekPixel only contributes the image URL, and only on posts where you want it. Together every post on the site ends up with a real share card, including the entire backlog.

Workflow

From draft to share-ready in one save

1

Design one template

Build a card layout in the SleekPixel admin with slots for title, category, author, and brand. Bind each to a post field.
2

Pick post types

Tell SleekPixel which post types and taxonomies render the card. Posts, pages, and CPTs are all supported.
3

Save in WordPress

On save, the template renders, the PNG is stored, and AIOSEO's Open Graph image field is set to the new URL.
4

AIOSEO outputs the tags

AIOSEO continues to write og:image, twitter:image, and the rest of the social meta block exactly as you configured it.

Comparison

AIOSEO alone vs AIOSEO plus SleekPixel

AIOSEO with sitewide fallback image

  • AIOSEO's per-post og:image field stays empty on most articles
  • Posts share with the sitewide default Open Graph image
  • Generating one card per post requires a manual design and upload step
  • Backlog posts never get unique share cards without bulk manual work
  • Title or category changes don't propagate to any social image

AIOSEO + SleekPixel

  • Writes the rendered PNG URL into AIOSEO's per-post og:image field
  • Pulls dynamic values from post title, category, taxonomies, and custom fields
  • Runs alongside AIOSEO without changing its meta output or schema
  • Bulk-regenerate the entire archive when the template changes
  • Honest separation - AIOSEO owns SEO, SleekPixel owns image rendering

Features

What SleekPixel gives you for All in One SEO

Fills AIOSEO's social field

On save, SleekPixel writes the generated PNG URL into AIOSEO's per-post Open Graph image field. AIOSEO outputs the meta tags.

Doesn't touch SEO output

AIOSEO continues to handle titles, descriptions, schema, sitemaps, link assistant, and redirects without any change.

Backlog regeneration

Triggered from the admin, a bulk regenerate updates every post's social card to match the latest template in one pass.

Use cases

Where AIOSEO sites benefit most

Editorial and blog sites

Publishing teams stop bottlenecking on social art - every article ships with a branded card the moment it saves.

Long-tail content sites

Pillar pages, cluster posts, and supporting articles each get distinct cards using their own titles and topic colors.

Newsletter and social-driven traffic

Articles shared on X, LinkedIn, and email all land with branded share previews because AIOSEO's image field is now populated.

The bigger picture

Why this combination matters

AIOSEO's per-post Open Graph fields are powerful, but most sites leave the image field blank because designing a card per article isn't a sustainable workflow. The result is hundreds or thousands of posts sharing with the same fallback image, which makes link sharing on X and LinkedIn feel generic. SleekPixel removes the manual production step.

Cards render from post data on save, AIOSEO writes the meta tags, and every URL on the site shares with a unique branded preview. The SEO surface stays exactly as AIOSEO configured it. The image side just becomes automatic.
