SleekPixel for EventPrime events

EventPrime handles bookings, performers, venues and event types, but its default social preview falls back to the theme. SleekPixel reads the event fields and renders a 1200 by 630 OG card per event with date, venue and performer visible.

EventPrime models everything, the share keeps almost none

EventPrime is one of the more complete events plugins for WordPress. It models performers, venues, event types, single and multi-day events, bookings and even ticket buying. Small cultural venues, training studios and independent organizers pick it for the same reason: the data model matches how real events run.

When an EventPrime URL leaves the site, almost none of that data reaches the social preview. The og:image is whatever the theme defines or whatever the SEO plugin holds as a site-wide default. Date, venue, performer, none of it is visible at the moment the click decision is made.

SleekPixel reads EventPrime's event fields (title, datetime, venue, performer, event type, booking status) and renders a per-event 1200 by 630 card. The template covers single-day events, multi-day events and recurring sessions with three variants from one design, so a season's worth of events ships with one consistent visual standard.

Workflow

From EventPrime event to branded share card

1

List the EventPrime fields

EventPrime exposes title, start datetime, end datetime, venue, performer, event type and booking status. List the fields the card will use.
2

Build the event template

Design a 1200 by 630 card in the SleekPixel editor. Bind slots to EventPrime fields. Add variants for single-day, multi-day and recurring events.
3

Render on save

When an event is created or updated, SleekPixel renders the PNG and sets the og:image tag on the event's WordPress URL.
4

Share the event URL

Share the event URL on social, in newsletters and on partner sites. The branded card loads with date, venue, performer and type visible.

Output

What ships for every EventPrime event

A 1200 by 630 OG-sized PNG: event title, date, venue, performer name, event type pill and a brand wordmark, rendered from EventPrime fields.

Format: PNG, OG + Twitter card Dimensions: 1200 × 630

Comparison

Default EventPrime share vs SleekPixel card

Default EventPrime share

  • Default EventPrime does not ship a per-event social card
  • Most sites fall back to a theme-wide OG image
  • Date, venue and performer never reach the social preview
  • Event type and booking status do not surface pre-click
  • Multi-day and single-day events look identical in social feeds

SleekPixel

  • Reads EventPrime event fields directly
  • Per-event 1200 by 630 PNG sized for OG and Twitter
  • Date, venue, performer and type bind to dedicated slots
  • Different variants for single-day, multi-day and recurring events
  • Re-renders when events, performers or venues update

Features

What SleekPixel gives you for EventPrime events

Performer slot

EventPrime performers are first-class entities. Their name and avatar bind to slots, so a card for a workshop credits the instructor properly.

Booking-status variants

Events with bookings enabled can render a 'spots open', 'few seats left' or 'fully booked' variant based on the live booking status.

Date variants

Single-day events show a prominent date; multi-day events show a range; recurring events show the next upcoming session. One template handles all three.

Use cases

Who renders EventPrime events as branded cards

Workshops and clinics

Cooking classes, craft clinics and skill workshops ship branded session cards with the instructor and the small-group size visible at a glance.

Small venues

Live music rooms and theatre spaces share each night's lineup with a per-show card that credits the performer and the doors-open time.

Movement studios

Yoga, dance and movement studios share recurring class schedules with a per-session card and the teacher's name on every share.

The bigger picture

Why every workshop deserves its own card

Small venues and independent organizers cannot afford a designer per show and cannot afford for every show to look generic in social feeds either. EventPrime already carries the structured data each share needs. The visual layer is what is missing, and that gap closes once the fields bind cleanly to slots on a template.

SleekPixel does not replace EventPrime and does not touch the booking flow, the performer profiles or the event types. It only handles the social preview layer. A cooking studio with weekly classes, a movement studio with daily schedules and a small theatre with nightly shows all get the same outcome: per-event branded cards that match the rest of the venue's brand, generated automatically every time an event is saved.

Questions

Common questions about SleekPixel for EventPrime events

Yes. The free version of EventPrime exposes the core event, venue and performer fields. SleekPixel binds to whatever fields the install actually has, so paid add-ons are not required for a clean per-event card.

Booking-enabled events carry availability data (seats taken, seats remaining). Those fields can bind to extra slots so the card reflects 'spots open', 'few seats left' or 'fully booked' in real time.

Performer name and avatar bind to slots. Multi-performer events can render the first two performers, with a 'plus 2 more' line below if needed. The template handles both cases.

Yes. The template can branch on a 'virtual' flag and render a different variant with a video icon and the platform name instead of a venue pin.

Templates can render a 'past event' variant after the end datetime passes, or the og:image can swap to a recap card. Both are flags inside the template; no extra plugins are needed.

No. SleekPixel only writes the og:image meta tag. JSON-LD Event schema generated by EventPrime or by SEO plugins is untouched.

Yes. The template can branch on a 'has price' flag. Free events render with an 'open to all' pill; paid events render with the price slot filled. Both share the same template body.

No. Rendering happens once on save and runs in well under a second on most hosts. The editor experience inside EventPrime is unchanged.
